I kind of like having just a transcript of that. What I imagine the "entry" to look like is quite creepy.
you know how the slenderman walked bow legged in dark harvest? not quite as bad as that but still goofiest operator apperance in marble hornets period.
Aww yes. I saw that.
I'm surprised that no one called them out in the comments. The audio and distortion seemed to add a bit of tension.
plenty of people did. they're frequents on the around the campfire podcast and even addressed it by telling people that's what they were going for bc if you were that tall your legs would bend weird

IMHO it was the creepiest thing. It didn't look goofy, it just emphasized how utterly inhuman TO is in spite of its best efforts to pass.

One thing I liked about original Entry 37 is it actually feels like something that would shake Jay so bad he wouldn't want to keep looking through the tapes, as stated in the original tweets leading up to it. It also hits a nice strong slender-beat early in the season, which I really appreciated. That said, I'm alright with it being dropped in favor of the arguably stronger Slender-moment in 40.

Man, that would have been great if it worked out. They even had a phonecall themed totheark vid preceding #37!

Maybe it was their unsuccessful attempt at creating a convincing operator walk that kept him confined to his statue like pose for the majority of the season.

He looked fine in return. i don't get why they can't get him to look properly while walking if other slender series can

Maybe they're still using the traditional two-paint-cans-on-ropes trick to make Slendy taller instead of stilts like all those new-fangled copycats. Old school. You know?

Is that what they did? I can't picture what your talking about, but I have always wondered what they used. Have they revealed their methods? I know they said it's not a mannequin, as they are far too expensive. I always kinda pictured just some boards nailed together in the general shape of a man, with a modified suit thrown over it.

Marble Hornets tends to get away with it by not showing The Operator move at all 98% of the time.

I have to admit that Slendy's "bowlegged walk" in DH came off as immensely creepy to me. Much creepier than his "Frankenstein walk" in 19. It never crossed my mind that it would come off as silly, until I saw that people disliked it.
On-topic, I am now very interested in this "penguin/crab walk"...

That walk in 37 scared me because of that it was sort of like a bug who is trying to catch it's prey via luring it in with a mesmurising walk, I mean if he was flailing his arms like crazy and twisting his head around, that probably would have scared me into never watching MH again. Inhuman qualities in something deadly scares me to no end

I still think someone with animation skills should do a Slender Man/Operator version of that video.
