An report on todays activites for those who are interested:

M0rgul, Crystalx3d and I met up and then headed downtown to Auraria Campus. After the fun time trying to find parking, we all met at the first axon, which rang at 10:32. Previously this phone had been broken, but crystalx3d and called Qwest and evidently they actually dispatched a tech to fix the phone.

When the phone rang, I picked it up. Just a recording, not a live call, but the discorse went something like this: (this isn't verbatim, but close as I can remember)
Me: Hello?
Op: I knew you'd be there. I think you've been watching me for a long time. I doubt you were part of my old crew, but perhaps you can be part of the new one. But first, I have to know if you can be trusted. What insect to I hate the most?
Me: Bees.
Op: Good. This (somethhing) hardware and compatibilites make it difficult to reveal the truth, but I'll try. Listen.
(clip of Jan arguing with durga because she wants to enlist, something is said about cookies)
Op: End of (sentence?) Repeat or continue?
Me: Repeat

and then we passed the phone around. Crystalx3d had made some sitckers with the cute animated bee on the ilovebees site on it, which he used to tag every phone we got a call on.

The next phone (10:52) was a bit of a ways away from the first, but closer to the arts building. Again, a recording. Crystalx3d tagged the phone and we moved on. The next ones were in the hallway of the arts building. Some girls were having a bake sale to benefit something or other. I got the first one in this area(11:0Cool, another recording, and listened to targeting_scope. M0rgul then tried to get the one at the end of the hall, (11:15) (more recordings) but was rejected for watever reason. There was some speculation as to perhaps it was necessary to ennunciate. Then back to the first phone in the area (11:1Cool which I took. I gave "bees" as the password and we got are_you_in. I guess all those times at work I spent arguing with the voice recognition system that Hewlett Packard calls "customer support" actully was beneficial.

In the lobby of the Science building, at the 11:48 phone we met up with Durandal, who took the call, but was rejected. Not loud enough maybe? I had brought my digicam, so we got a picture of the now bigger Mile High Crew. Its attatched.

Cystalx3d had to split for a calculus class. So he gave M0rgul the sticker sheet so he could tag the phones at Union Station as well, and M0rgul and I went to get the 12:50 and 12:51 Axons. We met up with Durandal there; I answered 12:50 and Durandal answered the 12:51 axon, we were both accepted, and everyone got to listen to the recording war_effort.

After that we loited by the phones for a bit and speculated, until a cop asked us why we were all hanging around the payphones (me taking pictures of the bee stickers probably didn't help us appear inconspicuous).

There were later Axons in boulder, and I gave the sheet to Durandal, hopefully he got the one by the Quizno's. There was another one inside a mall, which is now being torn down. Darn.

On a completely unrealated note, I want one of those "Mile High Crew" shirts.

Okay, I just wanted to take this opportunity to say WTF!? Sleeping Princess is dead?!! After my physics lab and b4 my calc test tonight, I drove up to Boulder to get the 4:48 axon in front of Quiznos. Instead of getting another recording, I was greeted with "Crew member, what did you have for breakfast this morning?" It was SP. We had a nice long chat about things like going home and how my name was kinda funny but still cool and how I have three brothers and one sister but they all live really far away. She also made me sing in french. Somehow the conversation lead to her asking me if I was a good artist. I said yes and she asked me to draw something for her: a picture of herself, beautiful, increadibly smart, and invisible to the queen. She made me promise to send it to her and then said she would miss me. The last words she said to me were "I love you 3D, bye" Crying or Very sad And now she's gone, never to receive my picture...(regains composure) Ok, I know it's just a game. In all seriousness, I'm kinda bummed that we don't get a combat training exercize here in Colo. Heck, I'd even settle for any other adjacent state, but nooo, we're stuck in the middle. I really wanna go. But they're all too far away from me. Flying's too expensive and driving is out of the question. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check the 404 page.

Im kind of bummed about combat training as well man. oh well. we'll just have to make our own combat training. I'm curious about sunday. What's gonna happen? Is the game already over. Colorado Springs just finally got into the game Sad
This has been an interesting experence and I'm glad to have gone through it. When its over it'll be bitter sweet. On one hand, I'll have halo 2 but on the other the ARG will be over. Such is life I guess. Props to Cedmond for getting the Axion!!!! I was stuck in a highly classified lab all day. Hopefully sunday isn't the end and I can hit up the call next week. Anyway, guys its been a blast and I guess we are in for a ride the next couple of days.

Well, it's still not for sure, but I may be able to go to the Combat Training in Chicago!! On Thursday I have an early class but then Im off, so if there are any flights around noon I can make it most likely. My dad is a pilot so we get free travel, I just have to talk my parents into letting me go, and I'll be there! I'm so excited! If it is a Halo 2 multiplayer tournament, I won't dissapoint. I'll be sure to represent the Mile High Crew (which has finally grown to like 4 people, lol) and the Pikes Peak Hopefuls (I can't remember, did you guys change your name when you got your axon)

Ok, You will either have to buy a blank shirt and give it to me, or I can get it and you can pay me back. The shirts we got were like $6 or $7 I think, but I'm not sure.
Ya, I'm really excited about Chicago. My main problem is convincing my dad. My mom will probably be fine with it, but my dad won't see the point. I'll just tell him "I already sent in my registration email, and if I don't show up, Melissa will be angry. You won't like a military artificial intelligence from 500 years in the future who somehoe got trapped in our time and is considered very dangerous when she is angry. Or, something like that. It is basically free, so I don't know what he could possibly complain about, but we'll see when I get home tonight what he has to say. I'll just keep my Hulk analogy on hold until he says no.

Lol, some day crystal, your dad will come along something great like this, and I will say "I wish my dad was a mining engineer." Or, maybe not. Oh, and I found out it's fine if I miss my earth lab, I just have to make it up later, so the only obstacle left is my parents! We'll see tonight at like 7:30!

Well, I've talked to my parents, and they decided to let me go to Chicago!! I'm so excited, it's gonna be awesome. I'll bee sure to let you guys know what exactly happens there. I'm sure if we do play Halo 2, that I won't be the best (I may be great, but there are probably people even better than me), but I will try my hardest to represent the Mile High Crew and Pikes Peak Hopefuls with honor!!

Well, interesting, Laramie's sole Axon has over three calls to it....

12:25MST :: 11:25 PST 41.313438 -105.58394 Laramie WY Wyoming Laramie

12:40MST :: 11:40 PST 41.313438 -105.58394 Laramie WY Wyoming Laramie

14:40MST :: 13:40 PST 41.313438 -105.58394 Laramie WY Wyoming Laramie

And of course outside of Cody:

13:10 MST :: 12:10 PST 44.463879 -110.099773 Pahaska WY Wyoming 11 km SW of Pahaska

And to make this worse, we do the Daylight Savings switch the eveing before right?

Anyone else notice a huge number of repeat hits on a single Axon site (like the Walmart comment above)?

Yes, we do have daylight savings the night before. Thats why it says PST not PDT, so make sure you set your clocks one hour back before you go, or it could throw you off. Denver's axons are all over the place, but we have several at the same time. So if we are going to get them all, we will have to coordinate well. Hopefully D-mark and Durandal will be able to help again, it's on a Sunday this time, so you hopefully won't have to get work off. I will try to list them all here, and I will use the following code:
[1]Union Station(either one there, I'm not sure which one)
[2]Auroria outside on corner of building.
[3]Inside building, set of 2 phones(again, Im not sure which it will be)
[4]Down hall from last two
[5]Science building lobby (where durandal met us)
[6]Phone that was broken but is now fixed. (actually strangely enough, this one doesn't have any calls to it, I wonder why not)
[7]Boulder, at the quiznos (and btw, crystal has gotten 2 live calls from this phone now, so I'm mad!)

Ok, we have several at the same times, so I will list the time and what phones ring then.

12:00 [7]
12:05 [2][7]
12:20 [2][7]
12:25 [2]
1:15 [1]
1:20 [1]
1:25 [1][4]
1:30 [1]
1:35 [1][4]
1:40 [4]
1:45 [7]
1:50 [7]
2:00 [1]
2:05 [1][1][3][3][5]
2:10 [1]
2:15 [3][3][5]
2:20 [3][3][5]

Ok, now that I look at the numbers in this format, you can sort of tell in what order they go. There aren't any problems about being in two places at one time, but we will need 2 people at Auroria and 2 at Union Station to get them all (since a few have double calls at two phones at the same time). Hopefully D-mark and Durandal will be able to help, because we will need 4 people to get them all (5 if we get the quiznos ones in Boulder). I will try to convince my lab partner to come with me, since I've been telling her about ILB for a while and she seems interested, but still thinks I'm crazy. Crystal will probably post his map again, but it will be hard since we have multiple times at the same axon, but Im sure he can find a way.

Edit:I was missing a few axons, and crystal corrected me on them, so I changed them. And with these changes, I realize we will need 3 people at Auroria-2 at the phones inside the building while one is at the science building.
