I've been keeping up with this one, I've really been enjoying it so far.
The implication that the Canadian government is almost doing what the SMD did early on in O&T is very interesting.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
in observe and terminate they killed people who believed and removed all traces of their obsession to prevent contamination
There seems to be a proxy of some sort, could've just been his crazy friend, but it's not quite clear on that.
The blog can be a bit blatant at times, doesn't try too hard to mask the fact that it's a slendy blog even early on, but it doesn't really hurt the reader's ability to believe what the narrator is saying, and he's generally an interesting character himself.
I'd recommend it.

Seconding the recommendation. I'm enjoying that it's got some puzzles but for the most part it's fairly straightforward. I'm kind of tired of blogs and vlogs doing loop-de-loops through every conceivable plot twist. Sometimes a simple plotline is the best.
And, quite frankly,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the description of what happened to Robert was absolutely horrifying . Seriously, it freaked me out. That sort of thing was what originally freaked me out about Slender Man anyways. Apart from the whole "faceless monster of doom" thing.
Really looking forward to seeing this out to the inevitable conclusion.

New post today! This is definitely an interesting blog...I'll be keeping my eye on it.
Also, does anyone else find it interesting that his girlfriend's name is Lillith? Seems symbolic to me, but we'll see if it has any play on the story. I've also noticed that it's never shortened (i.e., to Lilly), always Lillith. Not sure if it's meant to be a pseudonym, but either way, it immediately caught my interest.

I'd been thinking something similar.
Had a quick gander at the wikipedia page for the name "Lilith"; there's a lot to go at but there are a few myths which might (or might not) be relevant; the "femme fatale", a lot of stuff about a demonic seductress, something about being a child killer, and the Kabbalistic Tree of Life: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilith
Also, we can probably assume Smith's real name is Seb/Sebastian. I'm guessing (Chekov's gun-style) that the fact it was put in there was deliberate. Not sure what reference that could have though.

Hm, definitely interesting. Hard to tell how relevant the name will be, since we don't have much of a handle on Lillith's character so far.
Assuming Sebastian is Smith's name, I checked up a bit on Sebastian in myth and found that there is a Saint Sebastian, who was a Christian martyr and is the patron saint of archers and soldiers. Not terribly relevant, though the website (http://www.mythencyclopedia.com/Sa-Sp/Sebastian-St.html ) had a few key definitions that stood out to me:
Quote:
patron special guardian, protector, or supporter
martyr person who suffers or is put to death for a belief
It may be nothing, but it's certainly interesting, as both names are pretty unique.

Another post today! This one is updating pretty frequently.
It's been confirmed that Sebastian (or Seb, according to Lillith) is his real name, and that "the Weaver's" influence is getting ever stronger over Seb. Also,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Lillith stole the coat. Hmm, she's either a very fast runner or was physically under the Weaver's influence at the time.

So the main OMaHT storyline seems to have ended, but the protagonist Sebastian's survived and gone on to do other things.
