well, looking through the bg.png we see the code to key #6. that's how i found it last night. so it may be they weren't following the forum and don't know we cracked that bit yet (because it hasn't been picked up).

Thoughts from tonight's event

Hi everyone,
First post! I attended the event this evening for the second time - first attended on Sunday. I know tonight's event was streamed and I'm not sure what made the cut so I thought I'd share some of the interesting dynamics I noticed between the staff as well as some conversations I had with them (not sure if I should mark things as spoilers? I will to be safe).

First off, I went with my friend and we split up to meet with different staff throughout the night.

I had a chance to chat with Dahlia and we were discussing websites.

I asked if she was into memes (awkward question, I know) and she said she loved them. She brought up lolcats specifically as one of her old favourites. I know we figure she is the one hacking into ByoLeaks but this might be a further hint?

During my time with the custodian she received a memo from management explaining that

her salary was being cut by 10%, from 60K to 54K.

I believe all other non-exec staff received the same memo. I was instructed to bring the letter back to Chet while he was busy with another group with the message that "the custodial staff have received the message." This troubled Chet and a few minutes later he came over to berate the custodian for drawing attention to the letter in front of the other "VIPs."

While speaking with Bernice someone asked whether the products have been approved by Health Canada. She showed us a letter from Health Canada (whatever is equivalent to FDA). I only got a chance to skim it before she took it away but from what I read

the letter was actually revoking approval for Altjira due to some sort of new information which had come to light.

Again, I only had a few seconds to look before Bernice took the letter away so I might have misinterpreted.

Most of the staff are wary of Marie, the PR woman. Bernice had mentioned that there is very high turnover with PR staff and Marie was very anxious that she was being evaluated by the other staff throughout the event. The first time I was there, my time with Marie was interrupted when

Tyler? (creative guy) stormed in saying "you have failed your probation!" and brought her behind a door to yell at her. We couldn't make out what was being said but clearly she is doing something incorrectly.

My friend was chatting with Marie (PR) tonight and she revealed something very interesting and somewhat disturbing:

nobody refers to her by name, she is known at Byologyc as "number 27." She carries around two folders with the resumes and photos of the PR staff who predated her; they all have long brown hair and glasses. When someone asked why she didn't wear contacts Marie said she had been specifically instructed to wear glasses on the job, presumably so she'll fit the "image" of the previous PR staff.

Something fishy is going on in PR...

At both events there seems to be some passive hostility between the staff members. The first time around,

business cards with "b****" and "wh***" written in black marker had been circulated by someone, with Olive as the target.

Olive showed me the cards and asked if I knew anything about them. When I said I didn't, she asked me to throw them out so the other staff wouldn't find out. Perhaps someone is bitter about her dalliances with Chet?

Tonight,

Denis (exec assistant) received a card with "weak" written on it in marker. He crumpled it and tried to brush it off. Not sure who it came from. Maybe Olive and Denis are sending them to each other? Other staff may have received these nasty cards, but the only ones I saw with them were Olive and Denis.

Finally, not sure if anyone caught this from the webcast (I hadn't noticed from the audience, my friend pointed it out) but when the pills were all distributed

Davian didn't take his. He slipped it into his lab coat pocket. When Chet, Olive and Davian were arguing behind the stage after everyone took the pill Davian was saying something about "I told you this was unsafe."

He's clearly wary of this whole situation.

That's it! I'm glad I got to go twice (volunteering at Fringe has its perks!) - I was paying much closer attention the second time, after having read the forum!

I haven't yet tried to personally contact anyone. I'm still trying to sort everything out and figure out which leads are worth following!

Incredible recap! Thanks for writing it up. It's seriously interesting to get a first-hand report to mesh with my own webcast experience.

They are really, really developing a fascinating storyline here. I am all sorts of ideas and wild speculation, but I'm going to just take a wait and see approach.

The part about the custodian -- they really treat her poorly. I asked in the stream whether she has a twitter. Byologyc responded pretty formally that she doesn't. Interesting, that.

As for the active part of what we can do, I really wish someone would go find Box #6, because we have Key #6 location and need all the info we can get.

Yes, she's been around for 20 years and is still treated like a second class citizen. I bet she knows a lot of secrets...I read in Eggz' dropbox that she likely has the highest security clearance after Chet.

She would have been around when Getram Sr. was in charge; she implied to me that she does not think highly of Chet (of course, in a very vague way). She could be dangerous on twitter Razz

I bet she'd have some stories to tell if there was a way to get in touch with her, and if questions were posed properly...

The cameraman took us around to the different groups, so we got peaks of most of the major players conversations. Think of it from the perspective of a reporter covering the events, except just watching and listening instead of asking questions.

There were intermittent incursions from ByoLeaks into the broadcast. Those are spoiled above, but they generally included finding hostile pictures -- one was taped onto one of the champagne bottles Dennis was uncorking for the corporate group -- and interruptions in the stream. At one point the song "party rocking" overrode the audio feed. At another point, a hilarious commercial from my youth was spliced into the feed.

So while these little interruptions were occurring, we saw snippets into the same deconstruction of relationships between the ByoLogyc people. Olive and Bernice got into a little tiff about Olive not signing off on some dispersal of funds. Bernice got her exec slime on, changing face instantly when someone asked her about something else.

Derision about the housekeeper was pretty evident, as I mentioned above. Tyler seemed pretty snippy about one of his VIPs being late, and probably just about Byologyc procedure in general. Brad, while affable, was also pretty terse about it. You could hear him giving some rigid directions and expectations.

There was a whole lot going on that was similar to what I just described. The underlying tone is that there is turmoil in the ranks. The employees have problems with each other on a personal level, but there's also something very big going on.

Speculation:

Given the mention by Olive about funds transfers for immune deficiency, the leaked memo confirming these fund transfers, Bernice's anger tonight about Olive's refusal to sign off on something, and general story we've piece together, my guess is that ByoLogyc can no longer source whatever they were using to combat the immune deficiency problem with Byorenew. This may be lack of funds or something else.

This is interesting. I wonder if we can figure out how to contact her. I tried renataSPLATbyologyc.com, but no response. renata may not be the correct spelling for her name, or, more likely, she won't have email access either.
