Yeah, heheh. I was wondering why Jersey was running through such a ridiculous, melodramatic sequence when he knew full well he was around people who were WAY more capable than he was.

To move back a couple of topics it looks like the spec. that the seeker was a Herzog operative was on the money. I have to give mad props to the people who got that on zero evidence. I believe I can put forward a convincing hypothesis on how he infected Mellisa.

Mellisa noticed the signs of an infection and assumed the virus was nested in the covenant transmissions. These were not, however, the only wave packets she intercepted; there was also the message from Mckaskill, Hertzog's stooge.

[SPEC] I think that Hertzog gave Mckaskill some sort of ID to attach to his communications, perhaps explained as a security measure or suchlike. I find it more likely that Herzog would do this than let Mckaskill in on the whole scheme since you'd have to be pretty dedicated to willingly infect the AI flying your own ship.

Is anyone else worried about Kamal going back online? There was earlier SPEC that the people looking for Kamal might be ONI. If he goes back online they will be able to track him. This could certainly interfere with his role in the Artifact raid!

Why are Durga and Jersey not telling Kamal about Sophia going to jail rather than turning him in? It would seem to give him even more incentive to save the world!

Why arn't they saying "Hey, we'll get Soph out if you help us!" like they've done for everyone else. Well, not exactly like that, but you get the idea (Jan's apartment, Rani's... what DID they tell Rani to get her to help them?!)

Edit: Oh, and I was partially at fault for the first axon going non-hot yesterday, but I got the question right today! I thought she said "What do I hate the most?" so I said "the covanent", hoping that'd be good enough. I didn't hear the insect part! =P Silly me. That's the second time that's happened to me! But, I got it today. Oh, yeah.
