A Sang Arm

A Sang Arm can be rearranged to spell Anagrams. So it is entirely possible that they are a key to something.

If the IG Stoa derive their name/values from this Greek philosophy then they're likely to be a reasonable group b/c Stoics valued the use of reason and tended to avoid conflicts. This is a purely speculative reference b/c we don't know exactly who they are in the game. Am just mentioning this b/c it's a lil slow atm.

Okay, So everything I've read thus far indicates that they CALL us the Stoa. Basically, We are the Stoa. Thats just their name for us. We don't know what role we play, But at least now we'll know when they're referring to us. Also, I vote we stop pissing off the operator, because we must be giving him the impression that we do't know anything. I don't think we need to worry about the mechanic for now. Wallace has been eerily silent, seeing as he had his first day at work yesterday. I'm going to keep an eye out and post as soon as he does. Also, Wallites? Why do I have a feeling we won't like it when they show up.............

Actually it's the Stoa resistance, which..to me...signifies resisting something...perhaps CEYKOs and stumans? So we are part of a movement, not just merely a label. That is the role we will play.

And Wallites? I think they are just followers of Wallace. Which brings up a good point...what exactly is this conflict about?

Yaha, a really good point, Distraction (& nice work on the "Kinetin" research). They all have a long history together. Of course, am happy to play along with whatever the operator calls me **but I have no dog in this fight** & am still hoping we learn more about the history of the Stoa resistance of whom the Curator (miss him) said:

The Curator wrote:
...the Stoa that we believe worked in seclusion to gather the true history of stumakind

If I remember correctly, wasn't somebody saying something about Porch being lost? Possibly this porch is one in the same? It fits if the stoa stoics reference is true.

Nice catch, amandel! \(^_^)/ With all these Greek references, I begin to wonder if Wallace's real name could be a reference as well.

Just to put it out there since Wallace has started work again, perhaps we should keep an eye out for mention of a laboratory on his blog.

it's probably all just in my head (long story pertaining to stuff outside unfiction), but i worry that i come off as trying to boost my ego or gain attention through my posts. i just want to put it out there that i'm not trying to boost my ego or get attention through the ideas/thoughts/etc. that i post.

Here are the lyrics for the harry nilsson song at the bottom of wallace's post:

Quote:
You can climb a mountain, you can swim the sea
You can jump into the fire but you'll never be free
You can shake me up or I can break you down, oh, oh

We can make each other happy
Oh, we can make each other happy
We can make each other happy
Oh, we can make each other happy

I for one can't see any meaning in it. Can anyone else? Because I'm just stuck. Maybe it has something to do with the other songs we've heard?

Perhaps a clue to Wallace's name?
