Problem is that the EMH project was too large in scope for them. I mean, if you look, sure, they've been far more ambitious than any other slenderseries creator, but it took it's toll, life went by, the excitement they had for the project faded, it became tedious, then they realized exactly what they'd done by opening up all these little side-plots and enigmas they inserted but never explained. Some members of the project just said fuck it and left(it's the only logical reason for them to write Alex and Steph out, honestly). What we're left with is three unmotivated guys trying to finish an over-ambitious, way-to-long project. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if we didn't even get a real ending, and just a message saying "We're done, sorry guys".

But, then again, does anyone even care about EMH now?

They care about the Community greatly, I can vouch for Jeff especially.

Uh, are you aware you have no idea what you are talking about? For one thing, as already mentioned, they love the fanbase. And from what I've seen, Jeff especially isn't the type of person to just say "fuck it" on something like this. Second, Evan is in full HABIT mode it seems, so it's nearing the end. Of course they're going to start killing off people. We're close to the conclusion, you should expect this.

And yes, it's blatantly obvious they still have a huge fanbase.

This is a terrible post.

Not a terrible post, it is just an opinion and there is some bitter seeds of truth in it. The question does anyone still care is a big yes though. If people didn't care at all there wouldn't be posts complaining about the lack of updates, or people like myself who obsessively check the thread daily for new updates still. EMH is very much cared about by fans and the creators otherwise there would have been a quicky cop out ending already thrown out just to be done with it, or an acknowledgement of just giving up by OOG sources. There hasn't been, it has been great, and will continue to be I'm sure, just a bit slower than we would like.

It's an opinion that parades itself as fact despite having no idea what it's talking about.

Its evidence to prove its point(Steph and Alex got written out so OBVIOUSLY EVERYONE'S GETTING SICK OF THIS SHIT) is actually proven wrong, as at the very least, Alex's death was alluded to over a year ago. "THE GUARDIAN SHALL LOSE HIS HEART AND THEN HIS BLOOD" obviously referring to the deaths of his love and his family.

It operates under the assumption that it speaks for everyone, despite being not-thought-out, negative to a fault, and generally just sort of douchey.

It's a pretty terrible post.

I just finished watching all of the EMH videos, and I really hope it dose continue in some shape or form. It may not have been my favourite of the big Slender three, but I have really enjoyed the series. The plot was great and has the potential to have a really good pay-off, and I loved the characters (especially Evan!). I also liked how they spread the storytelling through different mediums and channels, even if it didn't work all the time. I enjoyed the idea of HABIT, but I don't think they have pulled the secondary-agonist role off as well as Masky, ToTheArk and The Observer/The Collective did.

I wonder though, if EMH was to end without any resolution (which I seriously hope it does not!) could one be given in TribeTwelve? The two shows seem to be set in the same universe, and have some connections to each other...

That doesn't make it exempt from scorn. It doesn't even make sense. If I was getting tired of a series I wrote, I wouldn't say, "Alright, time to pull off my biggest update yet," I'd end the series, & maybe tell you about my plans for that awesome update that I just couldn't pull off.

So there bit of tension.
Here like something

Because Jeff the hero Hybrids deserves, but not the one it needs right now...and so we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...a dark rabbit.

By the way COA Marvel still better.

Best way to end an languishing slender-series is to have the cast killed off on camera in one final video.

I was actually going to ask about the Ustreams, because I am having difficulty getting them to work, but I had to go AFK for a while, so it had to wait.

That said...

WHERE IS JEFF?!
WHERE IS HE?!
WHERE ER RHE?!
WHAR RA RE?!
WHA AH AH!?
WHARAHARAA?!

That is ordinarily the convenient thing about Slenderman, but the cast has already established that Slenderman is protecting them, so they'd have to retcon that first.

Uhh, I hate to break it to you, but parodying that speech is like the most common movie joke right now.

My personal opinion on this is I think EMH need to post some form of update, either in game or out, just to let everyone know what is happening or when we can expect something. Otherwise people will start losing interest.

Personally, I'm hoping they've decided to take a few weeks holiday to recharge the batteries before ploughing ahead with the next (possibly final) part!!!

Either way, I think it's only fair for them to keep us all up to date!!!

Steps down from virtual soap box!

I love the randomness of when Slendy series update, but I do think there *does* need to be some sort of Out of game statement Smile But, I still love EMH as much as the day I started watching Smile
