It should be noted that July 26th is the date before the opening ceremony for the London Olympics, that the symbol in the background says "counter-terrorism", and there are a lot of theories of terrorist attacks going to happen at the London Olympics.

Video posted

If you go to their web page now they have added a video. Lots of fast scene changes which are hard to analyze on my phone. I will try later in case there is anything there.

Trying to analyze the video (which seems to only be a trailer):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
LOHAN & BOARDERS POLICE
MORGAN, AILEEN
24736273
1/24.2003

Thats all I can get from it though.

Okay, so I have completed all I have in Mission 1 so far. The intel is literally right in front of you, you just have to pick up the yellow addition signs on the screen. I will try to archive everything that is happening.

However, you have to make sure to pick up the code piece hidden on the wall, there is one per mission.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I found it on the left hand side, white piece of paper with orange highlighter. There is a yellow packwards e that looks like a box. Click on it. Aslo, apparently you can finding it by tabbing the page.

Unrelated to the actual game, but I normally give a look or a listen to any program willing to sponsor an ARG. That said, I highly recommend giving Homeland a watch. This is a fantastic TV show, I am hooked 4 episodes in.

Plus, backstory doesn't hurt.

sorry if this is a repeat post i wasnt sure if anyone else had completed the mission or not yet

so ive completed mission one, so im told by the computer screen, its now highlighted in orange,

when you collect the correct evidence and imput it, it moved the screen across, kinda cool!

its told me to check back any day for the second mission.

Backstory for this is really helpful, i didnt watch it and had to do alot of working backwards to get what they wanted.

EDIT - there is more to do than click on the plus tabs and pick up the symbol, mission status on front page should change to complete as link below

http://db.tt/xyqW5RtM

and also mission number should highlight orange when complete also, as per link below,

http://db.tt/frGJ6Pih

sorry if this is a repeat post i wasnt sure if anyone else had completed the mission or not yet[/u]

just letting you know, there was a blurb about the game on zap2it today.

from Showtime Launches New Alternate Reality Game
Quote:
For Devoted Homeland Fans, ItHitsHome Bridges The Gap Between Seasons One and Two

NEW YORK – August 29, 2012 – SHOWTIME has launched a new Digital Media campaign in support of the season two premiere of its Golden Globe®-winning and Emmy® Award nominated hit series Homeland, available now on ItHitsHome.com. With this alternate reality journey, fans of the series will be able to bridge the gap between seasons one and two, with a site set inside the world of Homeland, complete with the twists and narrative turns that the show's viewers have come to expect. New portals will be unveiled every week, until the series returns to SHOWTIME for a second season on Sunday, September 30th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

ItHitsHome.com picks up where viewers left off at the end of Homeland season one – with Carrie Mathison on a hospital bed, about to undergo her first round of electroconvulsive therapy. Fans are then given a special mission directly from Carrie – by digging deeper into the characters and their activities introduced in the first season, viewers are able to prevent a new incident. Through a series of video and audio artifacts, documents, and unique interactive events, fans will have a chance to surveil a travel agency in real-time, interrogate a prisoner, and finally gather the evidence needed to thwart the enemy.
