Jerome was listed on one of the memos that was leaked by ByoLeaks and I was trying to get more background, to see if this was something hinted at for later plot development or what.

Anyway, I was watching the Byo-videos, describing all the different products. I noticed that on a couple of them, they had words that were emphasized with a slight echo. I'm sure it's just them trying to use buzz words, but I thought it was interesting, so I wrote them down:

ByoEnrich - "...noticed most were mere..." and "...unobtrusive patch." (I'm sure that one means nothing)

ByoGrow - "...not chance."

ByoBreath - "...air you breath out..." and "...diverse tastes."

I'm just spit-balling ideas that probably won't lead to much, but there you go.

What I found weird was the end of their "Introduction to ByoRenew" video. From about 4:45 to the end, which is basically a full minute, the only thing that appears is the symbol, which looks like an vertical eye. I thought that was a little creepy.

Anyway, I hope to be able to help a little bit when I can. If nothing else, I'm excited to see what happens.

As to how I am aware of that element of your past, some information came to light during the week of the launch, some of it surprising Us as much as those who discovered the packages. I know you are already aware of Mrs Hammersmith's indescretions, but there were more revelatory things that emerged. You might want to keep a closer eye on Henry from now on...

What I do know is that during the initial Byoleaks hack when I was out of town, the code for ByoRenew may have got changed somehow, which could have made it dangerous. Also, gathering from your box contents, if the HPFB/Olive letter was real, it's possible she paid for their approval but maybe didn't pay enough. At the launch, Bernice was after her to sign off on a large sum of money that was unaccounted for. Things to ponder, anyway.

Also. Bernice pulled me into the back room because I was having too much fun, essentially. There may have been some substances involved for me throughout the night, to get me through dealing with the unwashed masses, and heaven forbid someone is less miserable than the rest of us here at ByoHell. It was less about my expertise and more about my altered state. Sorry to disappoint.

As for what you learned of my past, what was in that letter was only a half-truth. Up until five and a bit years ago I was working for CSIS - I didn't just hack them, I got to see all sorts of shit and did a lot of infosec for them. Basically, I got comfortable and was sloppy and got caught reading military docs out of boredom, and my options were prison for a long time or Byologyc. I'm originally from the States and was considered a terrorist threat - couldn't be trusted to leave the country, all that bullshit. You can guess why I went to work for Chet, given the options. As for getting the Byoleaks site shut down, sometimes I have to do things to keep my job and freedom that I don't necessarily agree with. Since I am newish, I wasn't here for when the original exe was uploaded...but when looking at the source code, there is a cypher at the top of the page...is that something new, or has that already been solved?

thats pretty neat.. i know there are somethings we are working on but she did leave me instructions NOT to share. but im never very sure if unf is considered OOG or not so i didnt share it :S something was mentioned about fb so i didnt post there, but if its also OOG i can cross post.

So, mrshomersimpson & I were chatting and she said the cipher Strudel (PROPS!) found was indeed new. Got lucky with the solve:
