Thanks, but that's not what I meant. I was talking about the line after that. Vinny says "Not a problem" and then Dr. C says something else that I can't understand right before opening the door.


He said "Bless you kids" and then made a cross over himself.

 		Before I start off on a spiel that's most likely influenced by lack of sleep this weekend, may I soberly say that this video is virtually flawless? The acting, editing, and pace of progression was better than the majority of recent "blockbusters" this past year- and considering that this is the product of a couple of college kids, that's saying something. Though other videos have scared and disturbed me, I've never been truly frightened until now. This is the first Sleder mythos video that has made me scream, or my heart palpitate, and I know I'm probably going to end up going another night without sleep.

Okay, now I'm gonna ask some Qs as I rewatch this video for the 7th time...

1. The house that Vinnie is exploring right now is the one in/near Baldpate Mountain. Is it supposed to be the house Maryanne mentions in the Lady of the Light letter? It seems like a legitimate possibility, considering that Lambertville is at the base of that mountain range, on the border of NJ and PA.


2. Isn't it a little ominous for the distortion to go red every time

Vinnie hears Alex's voice? Alex doesn't sound too urgent either. All he says is "Vinnie?" (3:23) , and then a rather nonchalant "Yo, Vin!" (4:14). As much as I'd like to believe that he's safe in the Candleverse, it sounds a lot more like a manipulation to further drag Vinnie through the rigging of these portals.


3. Until Vinnie closes the bathroom door,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
doesn't it sound like the children are laughing (4:55-5:00)? The actual crying sounds only start after the door starts rattling- I assume because whatever demon is after him realized that the particular portal was going to close.


4. Once again, the red distortion is back at 06:27,

when Slendy is in view. I honestly can't tell whether Vin is being dragged to Slendy or not though (mostly because I'm still too scared to look directly at the screen during that part). At one point, he seems to be holding on to the railing with a pretty fierce grip though, so the former assumption as a little more of a basis.


5. Faceless person with tentacles wearing a jester hat? Seems like someone who doesn't think too highly of Slendy is sending some subliminal messages by inserting that painting into that timeline.

Also, if you listen closely between 7:56 and 8:04, you can hear the sound of water dribbling. Even if the drowning scene was on a loop, there's no dripping noise in that clip. So, wtf is that?

6. 10:13 is uncannily familiar... I don't think it's from the Candleverse video exposure though. I think it's from a different video entirely. Has anyone else looked around? I'm gonna try and see if I can find it too.

7.

Right before "Dr. Corenthal" drags Vinnie into the sanctuary, Slendy cocks his head, as if he was expecting him.


8. [This one is kinda OOG, but] I really can't decide whether Dr. C is supposed to be sketchy, or if that guy is just a seriously bad actor.

 		Holy crap. That video was ... amazing doesn't even begin to cover it. Shocked

Add me to the Corenthal is inHABITed/HABIT posing as Corenthal camp. Actually when I saw him, I was thinking to myself "Why is the Comedian in an EMH video?" Just seemed weird and off from the way Corenthal has been portrayed previously.

At this point, I'm not even sure what my theory on Alex was because it's been so long since I posted it, but I'm not surprised they're hinting he's still around in some form.

I hope there isn't going to be another long delay for the next video. Confused

 		That was an A grade entry (mind you, every EMH entry for me has been A grade). Suspenseful, scary as hell and some great acting. Well, worth the wait.

The only problem I have with it is this: when Vinny was pulled towards Slendy. I don't know, Marble Hornets pulled vit off, but here...I don't know, it just didn't work for me. I can't *quite* put my finger on why, but it just didn't. The reveal of Slendy was brilliant, though Smile

While it was great to see Cothereal at last, I did feel the performance was a bit...melodramatic. Yes, it was obviously someone who had psyched himself up to be like that (and given that he and his family had little contact with other people, it's understandable they'd lose a fair bit of normal social interaction), but it just...clashed with the realism. It was still great, but a bit of clash. Even the shot of the gun felt a tad too cinematic, even though I know it was a fantasy world and everything, but still it just didn't quite fit as well as other entries have in handling the fantasy elements.

I still loved every second of it though and it's a nice pay off.

Everything else worked, though. Loved the Slendy blurs, voices ((Alex! *Sob*) and the reveal of the first EMH tape was brilliant. Evan/HABIT is waaaaaaaaaaaaay scarier then Slendy, though, isn't he?

Okay, I want to start by saying that was a great entry. I've only watched it once, but I want to watch it again to fully appreciate it.

However, after reading everyone's thoughts on this I have to agree with the "HABIT pretending to be Dr C" theory. It works for me and has got me thinking....and just roll with this for a second.

On the basis that HABIT is impersonating Dr C, I'm concerned that if he wanted to fool Vin into thinking he was the real Dr C, then why did he not do a better job of pretending to be the good Doctor??
I think, in some twisted way, HABIT wanted Vin (or us) to know it was him. With that in mind and with HABIT calling Vin "son", I'm going out on a limb with the theory that the baby Steph is carrying / has given birth to, is Vince.

Alternatively, Steph could be pregnant with twins or triplets (Vin/Evan/Steph) but then that opens up a whole can of worms involving paradoxes and I just don't have the time to think about that kind of thing!!!


As for the picture, to me it looks like a girl in a black mask with a red hood and the "tenticles" are actually her hair. I can make out her right eye and ear. But there is, what looks like, the operator symbol over her left eye! No idea what that would mean though. Sorry! Sad

 		God, I'm just so happy to be in here again..planting trees. I don't have access to uF at work anymore, so I had to do a lot of my stuff on my tumblr.

I was doing a rewatch and doing a realtime thought thing and I did think of a few things.

4:49- So did Vinny time travel here? It looks like the stuff on the counter is remnants from Alex patching himself up from being Rake'd

8:22- This is in Steph's apartment and we're looking at the monitor. Between the Vinnie Everyman footage and the drowning stuff, there is about a second of something else. What was it? I wasn't familar to me at all.

As far as all the footage there goes, so this is a hidden video we haven't seen? And the drowning footage goes on for about a second longer than we've seen it before. Vince lets go of Evan and he swims up.

And why was this in Steph's apartment? I can't wrap my brain around the logistics, but was Steph the one who was actually making this footage(via Habit)?

Someone could probably do a much better job than I, but for what it's worth I did frame by frame and this was it.

This odd second of footage never changed. When Vince turned back around to the computer screen this was on and then it switched to the drowning scene.

I was thinking the same thing. It also makes a lot of sense for why Vince would start hearing Alex's voice, and why the air horn was there...
The air horn scares the Rake off. It also used Sparky as a puppet. We know it can "speak" on some level. I think it could've been impersonating Alex in order to draw Vince upstairs.
