3 words: Slenderman IN SPACE!

I'm 99% positive this is a lame joke.

But Slendy as an alien would actually be kind of a cool idea to explore.

In my opinion at least.

There's a lot of stuff from the original mythos that rarely if ever gets touched upon

-Slenderman having a face that appears different to different people
-Slenderman going after children instead of college kids
-Slenderman actually killing people instead of just making them disappear
-Slenderman doing stuff with people's organs
-Body bags (aside from an EMH reference)
-Wearing different clothes in different time periods
-"That's no tree...."

I've never even heard of half of these.

Ah, your loss. There's some great Slenderman stories that date from before Marble Hornets and Just Another Fool started to push it in the direction we're used to. My favorite is when these hunters come across a dead body suspended in a tree with its chest sliced open, and inside the cavity are all the organs in little plastic baggies, then they realize there's like a dozen bodies in the trees all around them. Great stuff.

I'm saying it right now. After I finish Strange Aeons, I'm making that vlog where no one's ever aware of Slendy. That idea's too good to pass up.

I'd like to see:

The Thing is undeniably the best horror movie of all time, if you ask me. One of the scariest.

However, it was also ridiculously hard to make. All practical effects. So if you want to do scenes where a proxy's head splits apart and becomes a venus fly trap, you're out of luck. Not many people who have access to Slender-videos live outside of a city or a town.

However, Urban slendy is actually promising.

You'd have a whole lot of room to work with. For example, a good scene would be to have the protagonist go outside onto his balcony, and see him on a fire escape off in the distance. He goes into his room to grab something, and we hear rattling and steps. He turns around, and BAM, slenders.

I live pretty much in a forest. I also live about 20 minutes away from a shitty, dilapidated old town where a building burns down pretty much annually. If I take a different road, I'm at a college town with a bunch of deserted back alleys, in just a few minutes more.

Recently, I've noticed that they'd all make very good settings. Shame I don't know anything about movie-making.

Mostly, I'd like to see a vlog with no symbols mostly just to see what one would look like.

Something else I think would be cool:

A Slender Man minivlog or single video. To explain further, what if, say, Slendy was on a plane, and someone were to have a camera on them. Slendy causes the plane to gradually lose control over the course of like 15 minutes. Slender Man kills off the people who are flying the plane to kill everyone else. The video ends with the plane going down.

Basically, I want to see someone try to make a complete Slender Man story in a single video, I don't think anyone's ever done that (aside for those who made one Slendervlog entry and gave up).

Personally, I'd like to see some attempts at an origin story...

Now I know that one of the major points to SM's appeal is his origin's mystery, but I think it would be interesting to see different attempts, see what people come up with.

I'm working on bringing a loose origin story into mine...

It would be just like that episode of The Twilight Zone! Okay, not just like it, but if Slender Man was standing on the wing of the plane, I would probably die from the awesomeness.

Alternately, there was an original mythos story which took place in a submersible, with Slender Man outside in the trenches. Now that was a cool story. Sadly, it would be pretty impractical for an civillian to do something like that.

I really like the idea of adding aspects from the original mythos, as well as adding new or underused ideas to the field. Maybe Slender Man is a vengeful ghost? If handled well it could actually be really interesting.

We hear a lot about myths that are similar to the Slender Man (der Großman, etc.). This would require a huge budget, but I'd like to see a Slender Man story set in those time periods, like 18th century Germany.

I think that an interesting characteristic from the original slenderman images that hardly ever gets used is the idea of slenderman being capable of enlarging himself to pretty much any height that he wants. Marble Hornets seems to use this a little in a few episodes, but none of the series that I've seen utilize the really extreme heights that he was able to reach in the original concept. Some of the pictures have him standing on his tentacles and reaching so high that people mistake him for a tree in the fog. I can see why that never gets used in vlogs (oh man, would it be impractical), but it would be cool to see in a blog.

For me, slenderman is an interdimensional creature. Other words not bound by our universe laws. So height differences or time distortion won't be rare for such a creature. I also on preproduction on my series. There's no symbols in mine.
