Most Frightening Entry?

I don't think this thread exists yet. If it does, I apologize.

What, in your opinion, was the most frightening entry / totheark video? For me, it was #21. Even though nothing really happened in the video, I was so afraid of seeing the Operator at any moment. I had to pause the video every few seconds to scan the screen for any sign of him. It was horrible.

Since then, I haven't been truly terrified while watching any MH videos. Sure, I've jumped a few times, but I think I've developed a sort of immunity to it. I'm interested to hear everyone else's thoughts, though.

I think there's an old thread like this, but there's no harm in making a new one.
Scariest entry for me was "entry." When Tim started wheezing and coughing, I started to get freaked out.
Entry #35 was also pretty frightening. When TiMasky jumped out of the doorway I nearly fell out of my chair.

#23.

I still think to this day it's the most psychologically draining, edge-of-your-seat episode.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Masky appears....then disappears. That creepy slender-doll. The "warping" rooms. Suddenly appearing in the "basement" of doom from Entry 22. And worst of all, that damn creepy echoing of Jay's "Hello?" in a deep voice several times. That place seemed so hellish I was half expecting the walls and floors to turn a dark, rusty red à la Silent Hill. And then that final burst of static, as Jay turns around just after another final, deep "Hello?", and the Operator's tilting head...[shiver].

Season 1 has most runners up for me too, with #4, #10 (I feel really immersed and exposed in the outdoors-at-night entries), #14, #19 and #26 (just an out-of-nowhere scare). #1's also a classic, and the recent #60 was for me personally the scariest in quite some time. Not to leave out Season 2 - #44's very creepy with Alex staring at that wall while I'm staring at the darkened doorway through a gap in my fingers..

Entry # 6 and signal are the only one who scared me at the point I couldn't sleep

I think that the most recent entry wins that title for me. There's something deeply uncomfortable about watching Tim having a seizure. I was thoroughly convinced that it was going to end with him dead, actually, although it still could go that direction.

I just noticed the "hello?'s" after rewatching it. I forgot how scary the house entries were.

I agree... the last entry was pretty emotional, but it didn't scare me exactly.

For me, it's Entry 52-- the season 2 finale.

After reading people mention Entry 23, I decided to watch it again, to see if it was as frightening as I remember... It was haha. With that being said, as well as being quite scary it is such a well executed entry. Editing, filming, everything about it is great. Definitely one of the best ones. No jump scares, but so suspenseful.

Entries that really stood out to me scare wise: Entry #18, Entry # 33, Entry #40, Entry #46, and Entry #60.

Plot wise: Entry #9, Entry #35, Entry #51, Entry #52, and the most recent one, entry/Entry #61.

And finally character development/acting wise: Entry #35, Entry #36, Entry #52, and Entry #59.

Also, having recently rewatched some Season 1 entries, I can say that in my opinion Season 1 was really, really good, but they have improved. A lot

Without going back and looking at all of them again, my choices are #23, 46, 49, 51, 57. #61 was great and spooky but I had a lot of empathy for Tim so that ended up being my dominant emotion so far. #52 had much scary stuff, but it was also really poignant/sad, and Jay also had a moment of being awesome.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

#23: Messed-up time/space issues, creepy building, Operator.
#46: LOL at "Jay, you forgot your flashlight," and then OMFG run away!! (And Alex doesn't notice/care? That might be even scarier than the Operator appearance.)
#49: Alex kills a random dude, apparently thinking it's Jay!
#51: Alex apparently lures Brian (& Tim!) to his doom?
#57: Tim desperately trying to stifle his coughing as Alex is near... Oh hey, the Operator is worse than Alex!

Some of the other entries that stood out to me scare wise were:

Entry #11, because of how close Alex gets to the Operator without noticing him.

Entry #12, because there's just something disturbing about it standing in that field and no one appearing to notice.

Entry #49, less because of the murder than because the murder shows just how far downhill Alex has gone, and that he's probably not going to climb back up.[/b]

49 was the first entry I watched, so it still freaks me out too.

They're all pretty terrifying, but I can say that it was Entry 19 that made a couple of friends I showed MH to go "Okay, that's it, I'm done!" (though to be fair we were watching it outdoors in the dead of night on a laptop, and I kept abruptly glancing behind us like I saw/heard something throughout the show, so that may have enhanced the experience). It was that general area, where masked Tim first showed up, that scared off most of my friends.

Probably a tie between Entries #6, #18 and the one where the Operator opens Alex's door and Alex has blood on his head.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Reasons:
Entry 6; All of my life, I've had this dumb irrational fear that somebody could be standing outside my house at night. The feeling of being trapped in your own home, out of fear and not comfort, is completely terrifying to me.

Entry 18; the Masky tackle! It scared the crap out of me. When I first watched it, I actually though that was Alex at the end of the hallway! It's funny because Masky doesn't scare me at all, just that tackle in 18. I actually though Entry #19 was silly.

For the last one, I've actually had dreams about Slenderman appearing in my doorway and trying to kill me. That entry brought my fears to the screen and was very unsettling.

(Also, this is REALLY random but, what happened to Pravado?)
