Oh, I just remember Troy saying something along these lines during one of the GMX conferences. By bad, but it doesn't really change the premise of my post.

Speaking of GMX, they did say when listing some the questions that would be answered, that we'd find out what really happened to Brian. So, I'd say we should sit tight.

I just posted this in another thread, but I figure it makes more sense to post it here:

Wait.... Here's one thing I didn't notice.... In Entry #51 when Brian finds Tim in the room where he had been hiding out, obviously for a long time, there's a while in between when the Operator appears and Brian is dragged away. Then, there's some time between when Brian is dragged away and Alex comes back to retrieve the camera. Why would the Operator be dragging somebody away, and very physically as though they're very heavy? And, another question, if Alex had been the one who had dragged him away, why would he go all the way back to the room to pick up the camera and film the trail he had just made? And, the most important question, why does Alex not react as though there is anyone else in the room? Tim can't be "gone" as well, obviously.

Maybe Alex/the Operator wasn't the one who had dragged Brian away.

Which is why the guy who dragged Brian away was wearing Alex's pants and shoes.

Ummm.... We never see the pants OR feet of the person who drags Brian away. Watch again, please.

Trust me, that was one of the first things I checked. lol.

Speaking of GMX, can someone ask the guys to do an official taping of their panels and just post it to TroyHasACamera? I like their panels I just can't make it to them so I's stuck watching fan uploads complete with fan commentary.

That just got me thinking. I always just assumed Brian gets dragged away by Alex and then he walks back in and grabs the camera.

What if after Tim saw Alex come back to finish him off the night before, Tim pulled Brian's body away to keep him alive? There is a small gap in between Brian being pulled away and Alex coming back to retrieve the camera. Maybe Alex could've been doing something with the operator and came back to see Brian's body missing. Alex does appear to be looking around before cutting the camera a full 30 seconds later. And Tim could've done some teleporting or some shit. That's why Alex didn't see the body which is now all of the sudden gone.

I don't know if this makes sense. I'm tired.

That's exactly what I've been implying with this theory!! Thought I was being clear... Apparently not. Whoops. lol!

Oh, I didn't realize what you meant exactly.

Could Tim have been the one to knock Brian out? Maybe not to hurt him but to save him from being memory wiped/operated? Maybe the operator can't effect a person while they're unconscious.

Because, like you were saying, if it was Alex who knocked Brian out, he sure didn't react to Tim being there/suddenly gone. I said the exact same thing back in the 51 thread I believe Very Happy

Yeah, I agree with everything you said, except maybe the teleporting part... I dun think Masky can do things like that. lol. But, he didn't neccessarily have to teleport. He just had to be far enough ahead of Alex that he couldn't see him.

Or, maybe they didn't leave at all... Seems sort of like the drag marks quit about halfway down the hallway. Maybe, Alex just assumed the Operator had taken him (Brian) wherever the Operator takes people and so Alex left thinking his job was done.

And, I think the Operator knocked him out in the middle of a fight which Tim ( as Masky) managed to keep conscious after. This goes back to my theory of Masky being a fugue state of mind for Tim, like a more instinctual and super-violent side of him which helps him survive the Operator's attacks. While Brian (if he's Hoody) is the more intelligent of the two, Masky is the brawn. This may be the moment where Hoody realizes that Tim could be useful to him with his resilience to the Operator's attacks, compared to Hoody's smarts but comparable weakness.

Of course, that's all based on assuming that Brian's Hoody. heh.

I don't necessarily agree with everything I said either lol. I'm just trying to throw some new ideas around.

And I believe Brian is Hoody as well. I've been a firm believer in that since the night entry 41 came out, before there was even any evidence towards it being him Smile

Yeah, I personally believe that moment was the beginning of the partnership between Hoody and Masky. I used to think that maybe they had known each other longer, but I like this idea better. Very Happy lol.

I'm a little skeptic about the whole Hoody and Masky partnership. Sure, we've seen them working together, but that was one time. Now Hoody is steeling Tim's pills and making him turn into Masky and blaming Jay for it when it's really all Hoody's fault because he's being a narc.

Well if Hoody is Brian then they have known each other for quite some time according to Tim. They were good friends even, I believe.
