 		Sorry, everyone, I have been in the midst of moving.

Seems to me that there are three possible answers to whom the "children" might be:
Black Eyed Kids
Children of Nyx
Children of the Fellowship of Mordred

Do you think that there is any way that we could get in contact with people from the church? Pretend that we're moving/drawn to Mordred and want to learn more?

Children of Nyx: Nyx is the personification of night in Green mythology. Among her children are the three fates. They share one eyeball and tooth between them.
Veeho: A Cheyenne trickster god. Seems to have the shape of a man most commonly, though. Sometimes referred to as "White-Man," though one website I found said that that was inaccurate since white men were called veehos after the god, not vice versa. My vote is for the children of Nyx (got stuck on BEK and didn't realise the next one was children aswell Smile), since they are a lot of bad things that would encounter for most of the stuff happening here - insanity, shadows, fear, pain etc.

I don't know where to inquire about the church. Seems the only source of info right now is Zardock, so perhaps your could ask him?

More on the children of Nyx, just the stuff somewhat pertaining to eyes:
Charon, the ferryman:
"Etymology of name
The name Charon is most often explained as a proper noun from χάρων (charon), a poetic form of χαρωπός (charopós), "of keen gaze", referring either to fierce, flashing, or feverish eyes, or to eyes of a bluish-gray color. The word may be a euphemism for death.[2] Flashing eyes may indicate the anger or irascibility of Charon as he is often characterized in literature, but the etymology is not certain. The ancient historian Diodorus Siculus thought that the ferryman and his name had been imported from Egypt.[3]"

Hypnos, god of sleep: "Endymion, sentenced by Zeus to eternal sleep, received the power to sleep with his eyes open. He was granted this by Hypnos in order to constantly watch his beloved Selene, according to the poet, Licymnius Chios"

Maybe we could summon some of Nyx's more, shall we say, positive children to help us?

The fates and Charon was just a few of them. Amongst her other children are Deciet, Doom, Misery, Blame, Death, Strife, Retribution, War and Madness. Malicious enough for you?

i agree ... sounds malicious to me..

i was thinking about something the shadows said to me in their email when they said about trying not to make the shadows the only ones ... they like a balance and are only doing what the children are asking. Well what if the children are asking the shadows. but its possible that there is someone ABOVE the children asking them to ask things of the shadows...

just a theory

 		Yup, it all sounds very malicious 'tho somewhat wiki generic. From the Mordred Legends would have thought it's something specific to that town, that community which is plaguing Jon and Charlotte. Guess we'll know more soon b/c:

i gotta say im hoping that we have a puzzle to solve thats gonna keep us busy for a bit! sometimes it seems a bit tail chasing....

I think it's "the fluttering behind the eyes" and "the sockets/orbits" that are community specific. Which when I think of it kinda suggests that's where the heart of the matter lies, doesn't it?
