Best Slender-videos/series and blogs

Hey out there!
I'm pretty obsessed with Slenderman and I think there's so many bloggers and youtubers out there.
So, which series do you think is the best?
Personally I think JustAnotherFool's blog is the most trustworthy.
But of course Marble Hornets are always the best and first, haha. Smile
Or... Like, 'real', so to say? (':
I'm very curious (:

Not sure I can speak to "the best" ones, but, at bare minimum, I can mention the video series I have seen (I've only seen one or two blogs, so other people would be far better suited to speak to that).

Of the ones I have seen, I'd recommend, well, all of them, I suppose. I'm assuming part of your goal in this was to find other series, so, in any case, here they are.

Those include(aside from MH):

-EverymanHYBRID (one of the lengthier ones/ more dependent on wiki, etc.)
-TribeTwelve
-DarkHarvest00
-MLAndersen00
-Weeping Thorns
-The Tulpa Effect

If you want something new, I suggest the just-starting "Down My Cellar Door." The first episode is really good, the fourth episode sold me.

Seconding "Down My Cellar Door", it's quickly becoming my new 'fangirl over everything' series. And Tulpa Effect, very very good series that seems to be picking back up, I thought it had died! Very Happy

Also, the TJAProjects and second series/third series/whatever, FindTheRoom/MakingNewMemories/TurnToMemories are pretty good. I'm kind of phasing out after MNM got cancelled again (the poor creators of this game have NO luck at all, all these OOG issues-- but it makes me love them more for sticking through it), but TJAProjects at least is worth a look through. Very Happy

Go for Dark Harvest, it has some interesting spins into the mythos! And for blogs, I'd suggest checking out "Stargazer". It's a sequel to the video series AfraidatHome

I haven't seen many, but there is one that stands out to me, which is The Angel's Game. I'm not sure if it could be called a Slender series, and I haven't watched what could be called "Season Two" or whatever, but I do find it to have been an amazing series. phase two and phase three (presumably...no sightings yet in phase three, but lots of blog mentions) have ACTUAL slendy in them :3

I think I like "EverymanHYBRID" best.

I've been hearing about "Down My Cellar Door" a lot. What's the basic premise?

Well the trailhead is only four pages, and there are only four videos, why don't you find out for yourself? Wink It's pretty unique, don't wanna spoil anything. The length of it so far makes spoiling it pretty easy, and we aren't sure exactly what's going on so far as the main plot too, so those are also reasons to take a look yourself. Wink

Dark Harvest. Is the best.

Also, The Dead Are Watching is very good and has a few departures from the mythos tropes (just to jazz things up).

Don't have a lot of free time, don't know if it contains anything I'd like, or for that matter anything I'd hate, heard some bad rumors about the acting, don't care about spoilers 99.9% of the time, if it updates slow I might want to wait to pick it up, can't follow everything on the site...

Not to sound like a bitch, but yeah, there are reasons I like to preview things.

Ah, I understand. Sorry. I was trying to be a bit silly, i guess it didn't come off that way and made me seem a bit bitchy/snarking. Sorry. Sad No hard feelings? XD

I think the acting is pretty good, the first video this girl's going into psychological shock sort of and her voice is perfect and she's actually shaking- which is pretty hard to pull off, in my experience. (then again, I'm not the best actress out there) The acting/characterization kind of reminds me of The Tulpa Effect, more natural, these are real people feel that's different from other vlogs.

So far it seems like two girls (one with dissociative fugues and the other with sleepwalking issues are both videotaping themselves to keep track of lost time. Then some sort of creepy creature (not slendy, so far he's only been shown in the background once) shows up and the house turns into this House of Leaves fuckery. It's great if you like a little EMH-esque "adding a LOT of new things to the mythos/mindfuckery" and it manages to make a pretty damn good atmosphere just on the writing. Think like MH's first few videos, but with more relatable characters pretty much right off the bat.
