[Spec] Jay went to the woods to find Masky, found his way back to the tunnel, and said "I'm going to stop tweeting" so that the tweets didn't give any more hints and the light of the phone didn't give him away. Then he waited because Alex was there in the tunnel, then Alex stands up mysteriously and walks off to the woods. Jay is about to follow at a distance but Masky appears and sneaks into the tunnel (probably to set up an ambush) then Jay decides to wait. BUT THEN Alex comes up behind Jay and hits him in the head and knocks him out (because Jay was Silly enough to wait in the same bushes as last time). Alex starts to drag Jay to the tunnel (Jay's camera has conveniently fallen to the ground facing the tunnel.) As Alex get's to the opening of the tunnel, Masky pops out and ambushes Alex. There is a scuffle and distortion starts, and The Operator can be seen in the distance past the tunnel. Interference, black screen, and the image comes back with more distortion, and the operator is closer. (Probably coming to Alex's aid) A loud noise is heard coming from the woods and Masky looks up towards the noise, grabs Jay (Alex is trying to get up and failing due to a head wound) and Masky drags Jay away towards the noise (more distortion and TO is closer, practically peeking around the wall of the tunnel) Masky stares at TO as he pulls injured and or unconscious Jay into the woods and out of sight (all while Alex screams in rage.) More distortion and TO and Alex are gone and everything is still and quiet. Then suddenly the camera shakes and is picked up from behind. Hoody looks down into the lens for a few seconds and it cuts to black. White text over black background "I woke up in the abandoned hospital With bandages around my head and my camera in my lap. I was out for a few days it seems. I barely remember the fight, but I'm glad Tim was able to get away. I have to try to contact him."

And that is Entry 62. The savior becomes the saved. [Spec]

That was fun, I hope the Entry is at least that exciting (I'm sure they will write a better one) I actually hope people try this, because they will be fun to read while we wait for the next Entry.

that's nice, seems kinda plausible. Although I don't see how the hospital fits in or why in the world they would be at the tunnel?

Because the tunnel is in Rosswood (and I wanted a landmark) and the hospital is the nearest hideout-esque place that they could drop Jay off. Idk, I'd rather they drop him off at Brian's house, but that is too far away.

No new entry tonight. Go figure.

There's no way Jay's not in an operator-trance right now, and that kind of makes me facepalm because they set it up so well

Maybe Alex knocked him out with a rock and he is in a mini coma. And Masky and Hoody are nursing him back to health. And he will wake up and post an Entry with some answers. (yeah right)

Though when we think about it. Even if it is built up, and Jay does have a lot of followers, if YOU or I were in his situation, tweeting and updating my YouTube Channel would be low on my priority list.

Seriously though, we're just going have to be patient for the next entry. It'll come when it'll come. Pravado, I'm just going to repost something I posted in the off topic thread:

And here in Oz, we have Dollhouse (which yes, premiered on Australia TV three years after the US) to keep us entertained. (Dear God, that show is brilliant and last week's cliffhanger..OMG. How the hell did this show end up cancelled in the US?!)

Cancelled? I don't even know what that show is, never heard of it (probably why it was cancelled)

Dollhouse was a science fiction show created and run by Joss Whedon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Firefly, writer and director of The Avengers) It focuses on a secret organistation, who hire out "dolls", individuals who have had their memories and personalities erased and have new personalities "implanted" to fufill their client's demands, which vary more then you might intiially think (although, you can imagine what a lot of people hire actives for) Echo (played by Eliza Dusuku, Faith from Buffy), is one such doll, who is a little bit different from the other dolls...

It's a brilliant series, but quite dark at times and while not quite as polished in some places as his other work, it's still my favourite series he's done after Buffy. The first couple of episodes are good (except for one ridicolious pop star bodyguard episode which I'd like to have permeantly erased from my memeory), but the show becomes brilliant when the client's task of the week takes a backseat and the arc really kicks in (it's woven in nicely with the first five episodes) The only problem that it's defiently a show to follow from the beginning (I'm not sure if they do re-runs of it in the US), as it becomes increasingly less newbie friendly as it progressess (would it have killed them to have included what the Dollhouse was in the recap credits? I don't think so which I'm pretty damn sure why the series got cancelled) Patton Oswalt's apperance in the series is one of the most chilling things ever (haven't seen much of his standup work, but he was brilliant in United States of Tara) and Alan Tudyk (Walsh from Firefly) comic role in one episode is absoustetly hysterical (and as much as I love Walsh in Firefly, I always thought Tudyk's comic timing could be a little bit off at times, but here he nails it) It's a must see series Smile

But heh, you love Doctor Who, so your not all bad. Saw the trailer, looks like it's going to be epic. Every single bloody Dalek ever - and it looks like we're going to see the return of The Oncoming Storm Time War Doctor....and that's terrifying. (As an old school Doctor Who fan, with The Doctor being the nicest compassionate man in all the universe (it's nowhere near as twee as it sounds, as The Doctor's eccentricy balances it out perfectly), it's always chilling to see hints of The Time War Doctor and how much it changed him.) So not prepared to let go of Amy and Rory, though....

But back to Marble Hornets. God, is this it for regular Tim? I'm going to miss him... Sad

Tweeting would not be low on the priority list. If I was Jay, this investigation would be my life 24/7, knowing that the operator is always there. The fact that he hasn't even updated twitter just says that he's not concious

And I really hope they don't have Jay update the twitter saying "i'm fine, feeling sick since i left for rosswood, don't remember anything, entry will be up soon"

because that is a cheap cop out to explain the gap that they have used too many times. if you're gonna write the story write it in a way where the gaps make sense. I understand that it's hard to do, but they have to understand that once this is over, it's over, and there's no way to go back and edit the story. And don't get me wrong, I think they're doing a good job with the story, I just think the pacing is awful. We're still going over Tim's problems and while I hope they will throw us a huge curveball, I don't see it happening. We can already infer most of the things about Tim. They need to stop focusing on Tim and start focusing on the real threats again. Jay is constantly looking for Tim for help, but in the meantime what about the thing that Jay is looking for help WITH? What about the operator?

jay isn't just sitting around 2 weeks at a time, he should be out looking for shit in rosswood. even if he is scared, there's no reason to sit inside if the operator can ignore doors and walls. jay isn't safe anywhere, so him trying to hide is pointless. he should be manhandling this investigation and setting up cameras around his residence to keep an eye on hoody so he can sneak up on him, take him captive, and get some FUCKING ANSWERS ALREADY

We just need Jay to face to face the camera, give his thoughts on the sickness, go into a little more depth on how he views the operator after his experiences, maybe ask some philosophical questions to himself, and then have that be the start of a new entry just kind of tacked onto the beginning to add some length to the entry. But it can't be more than half of the entry. While I agree that character insight is important, this is a horror story, not a psychological breakdown. I feel like what they're doing with Tim is giving us enough of his story so that we will slowly piece together the "steps to getting operator infected and what happens when you are infected," but if the operator isn't present and actively walking towards these people or moving in some fashion to creep them out, he doesn't really seem all that malevolent. and if he's not, then the totheark account becomes less effective

losing memories sucks, but if that's what we're supposed to be scared of then i don't think it's heading in the right direction. let me put it this way: if someone out of nowhere developed amnesia as a result of a monster, i'm going to be scared of the monster, not the amnesia.

all i'm saying is if they want to please me, more operator, more operator moving on camera and not just doing quick cuts to him suddenly being closer, and have the characters figure out a way to film the operator so that seeing it doesn't automatically fuck up the camera and end the entry. i really want an entry where totherak and jay finally team up and convince tim to be operator bait while they stand a football field away with a zoom lens watching what happens to him

Oh yes, I've heard of it, but I think the problem was it was on a B-rate channel.

And I love Time-War Doctor ("-Fear me I've killed hundreds of Time Lords" "-Fear me, I've killed them all" CHilllllllssss)

As for TiMasky, I think we will see an internal struggle begin soon, and hopefully it will be Tim who stands by their side in the final fight instead of Masky.

But I agree, Jay has been rather useless thus far. He needs to be more aggressive with his pursuit of the truth. He's really toeing the line between hero and damsel in distress at the moment. Hopefully this recent foray into Rosswood marks a turning point in his activity.

At this point, there is no "excuse" that Jay could come up with to justify such a huge delay. They had a really good chance to capitalize on a perfect setup, and blew it by pushing off 62 so long. Ruins the experience for the viewer... I highly doubt Jay was captured by TO and that would be pretty lame if he was.
