Significance of the "music" ToTheArk used in Season 2... What was it? Did it mean anything? Or was it just to be spooky? Okay, so I got my Seasons 1 and 2 DVDs the other day and the menus for Season 2 and many of the ToTheArk entries contain a strange, slow moving music that sounds almost classical in nature. It might be a 1920s ragtime song played really, really slow, but I can't be sure-- does anyone know what the song is and if it bears any significance to the story? Forgive me if someone has brought this up before, but it seems strange and I think it means something.

Almost every time there was music in a TTA video it has been recognized, picked apart and given possible explanations. Look up the individual threads made for the videos or check the wiki and you'll probably find what you're looking for.
Most of the time it doesn't really mean something other than being somewhat loosely connected to the message of the video...
And of course creeping us out

The ubiquitous music in entry #24 has always been confusing to me (along with being super creepy).
However I find it really hard to believe it has an actual significance, kinda like the TTA musics. A lot of stuff from season 1, and to some extent some season 2 TTA stuff is explained by this classic trope , in my opinion.

There's hasn't been any discoveries where the songs used in TTA videos have been significant
More often than not they're just there to complement the imagery

It's definitely there for the purpose of being creepy and weird. I don't really think there could be any significance behind it.

Yeah, really. I mean, TTA puts binary code in his videos and people take the time to translate it and it actually translates to something!

To this day, nobody has decoded that totheark where the numbers appear in the doorway of that house

Didn't Tim mention that he wanted to use this one type of code that is impossible to translate without a reference code. And that he wanted to troll people with said code by making an unsolvable ToTheArk puzzle.

I think it was just to be spooky, like a lot of stuff in totheark's videos. That's my guess for the OOG reason at least. In-game I'd assume that totheark is a psychopath and his choice of music, visuals, and overall weird presentation of each video make perfect sense to him.
