Why does Slenderman only use his tentacles when he's up against Noah?

(1) It doesn't want to, (2) the EMH Slenderman doesn't have tentacles, or (3) tentacle usage is not in the terms of its "contract" with Habit.

If there are two different Slendermen, then why on earth are there two different Slendermen?

Why is there one Slenderman?

Why is there no Candleverse!Noah or Candleverse!Milo?

Why should there be? We don't even know what the Candleverse is.

Why isn't Noah concerned about the Cycle?

No one is concerned about the cycle. As far as I can tell, the cycle is an entirely fan-made idea. We've no clue if it's even correct, & the EMH cast hasn't mentioned it once.

But, yeah, at the end of the day, the 2 series probably aren't going to become any more deeply involved than they already are.

I think you have to. Think of it like the comic book crossovers. Some of them treat it as if Superman and Spider-Man had always been on the same planet and has just somehow happened to have never bumped into each other, or even HEARD OF each other. Other times they sort of cross a dimensional barrier in order to meet. But in the end the characters always go home again and forget about each other and never mention it again. It's almost as if there are three universes. The two where the two characters live, and the one where they meet.

Yeah, it's cool that Superman met Spider-Man but if you focus too hard on it you have to start asking questions... where is Metropolis in comparison to NYC? Why doesn't Peter ever ask Clark for help? Or a job at the Daily Planet? Why don't they ever help each other?

Just focus on the cool factor and let the rest go. Or else you'll drive yourself crazy.

Fair enough. I guess I've just never really liked crossovers, for those exact reasons (You can probably imagine how I feel about the Avengers and the Justice League).

The cast ALWAYS ignores the letters, the hidden videos, the stuff from the boxes, etc. The only time they mention it is to say that they don't believe in it, don't understand it, and don't want to talk about it.

As for being a "fan-made idea..." Basically the entire contents of Box 5 sets up the Cycle: "THE GREAT FLOOD SHALL WASH AWAY ALL THE ASH, READYING THE WORLD FOR ANOTHER GREATER, CYCLE" Don't know how much clearer the idea could be planted.

That is not true. Initially, they said they didn't believe in the hidden videos. They eventually accepted that they were true. Then they had someone send them a copy, which actually forwarded the plot.

They may not talk about each document, specifically, but they clearly have read them, because they show knowledge of Dr. Corenthal, & the fact that he has more to do with them than he logically should.

Early pieces of speculation about Evan being an evil slenderproxy, they shot down.

You might be saying that they don't talk about in-depth theories like the cycles, but that is because those make a lot of assumptions about things that haven't been entirely explained yet. Pretty much anything that is definitive, that can be falsified, they cover.

That is something that may or may not be interpreted as karmic rebirth.

Anyone can find evidence for their theories. That doesn't mean they are any less theoretical, or that there are not good competing theories.

I'm probably really late here, but was there confirmation that the man in the last video was the doctor? The wiki labels him as such, but he looks a lot different from the man in the storage facility.

Titor multiverse model, different universes that bumped up against one another ala meddling hand of god to create a limited crossover of two distinct realities temporarily for fanboy/girl entertainment purposes. Or, ya know, it's just a couple of similarly minded authors who have independent but similar storylines and thought a meet up would be fun not only for themselves but also for the community which in no way affected the internal universes' consistencies, maybe possibly.

Props on the Titor reference, and yeah pretty much agree with this. You guys really want this to be a crossover but it's not.

To each their own I guess. I just feel like there is a preponderance of good evidence for the cycle: Box 5, the Fairmount Kids, Jeff's quote from "-.-.": "I guess when we're done with this iteration we'll have a nice little war buddy talk with him." The "respawn" moments we've had with Vince and Ev...

It's got some things going for it, yes. I've also speculated that I might not recognize the way exposition is delivered in these series. Personally, I hope it isn't true.

I don't know much about Tribe Twelve, but I legitimately do not see anything in EMH that makes a crossover impossible. I don't have any strong desire for it to be true. In fact, I didn't like the crossover to begin with because, like I said, I don't follow Tribe Twelve.

Wait a minute, in "Joke's Over", just when the video grays out and the sirens blare, Slender mans' tentacles could be seen. Stiff? Sure, but unintended double entendre aside, they're still tentacles.

Go to 2:05 of jokes over to see it. They become easier to see after that frame, but through distortion.

Those kind of look like tree branches to me.

I might look at it later, but whether or not it has tentacles seems irrelevant.

Maybe Slendy only uses his tentacles with Noah because Noah is secretly a hentai fan.

I just finished watching through this. Did anybody else notice the camera angle of the candle place in the last hidden video. It was pretty high up, you'd have to be pretty tall....
