Hm. Okay. So other people /are/ getting emails, okay. Sorry.

Ask him about the other contact! Might be whoever's got him wandering around in the woods.

I'm still working on mine. I sent off this:
Quote:
Hello! I found your business card, and was wondering if you would be available to provide security for an event I'm planning this October, a Halloween bash of sorts. Please get back to me ASAP.

I was hoping he might tell me that he's busy on another job (guarding whatever's out there in the forest or something else to give me a lead-in to ask what he's guarding out there)

but I got this back instead:
Quote:

Hello there. Thankyou for choosing Mamoru Security. Could I have some more information on the event, as well as the exact date, please?

Looks like I need to come up with a good cover story/festival :p
Any ideas how we could figure out what to ask to find out what this guy's guarding out in the forest? Might have my friend email him right out asking, like "What are you guarding out in the forest" or something, but that might put Lethe in more danger.

Also, about the odd names:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lethe
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acanthus
Mamoru is just a basic Japanese name that's supposed to mean "protect" but because Japanese names are all about how it's written in the characters, not just the romaji format- it can really mean just about anything... for the sake of the game we might as well go with the idea that it means "protect" though. Wink

Question: Do we know why the main character in the woods is wary of the 'Security Guard' out there? Maybe they're there to help. Not sure though, just wondering.

Me:

Hello

A friend gave me your card, I was looking for someone to protect my small facility for the production of novelty snowglobes and I wondered if you would be suitable for such a job.

It would be wonderful if I could get names or refrences of current or previous clients as it will help me see if you are the right company to protect our small but very important facility.

Them:

Hello,
We are extremely suitable for the job. We specialise in large-area patrols, and so therefore the perimeter of your facility will be entirely safe. We will be firm and forceful in protection of your facility as your security is of optimal importance to us. However, alongside security, we also see the confidentiality of our clients to be important, and therefore I cannot provide you with information about clients.

Thankyou for your time,
Mamoru Security.
