Another Arcade Aid Poster sold

Recently, #24 (FSURobbie) of the Arcade Aid series posters was sold for $40. A new low for a new low, as it were. On the flip side, it looks like the EOLC posters are holding "their value" quite well.

In the absense of "The Club" in Tron Uprising so far, and no further word on a Tron 3 (Tron Legacy 2) other than script rumors (and Bruce's proclamation, and the Writers vague statements at comicon 2012), there's no guarantee that there will ever be another mention or usage of "The End Of Line Club". On the other hand, the Arcade Aid poster can be considered historical and much more widely appreciated, and retro gaming will always "be in fashion".

I find it fascinating the "lack of interest" in the Arcade Aid posters versus the "exclusivity" of the EOLC posters. My prediction is that in 20 years, both will be equally "forgotten about". But I would have expected the Arcade Aid poster would be much more in demand than it is/was. Although this particular forum is currently "dead", I'd love to hear other member's opinions on the value/desirability of these two posters BEYOND sentimental.

BEYOND sentimental... I don't think any ARG material has a value beyond sentimental except for immediately after release.

Regarding the Flynn Lives ARG you are most likely correct. But there are many "valuable collectables" resulting from other ARGS that have a real value and hold it quite well (so far). The Dark Night related ARGs come to mind...
I was really hoping Tron (Legacy) would become a great franchise for Disney. Go to any toy store or Walmart/Target, and you'll see a ton of Batman/Star Wars/Iron Man/Transformers related toys. These "franchises" will be strong for a long while. Tron toys are now relegated to "fan boy" status and flea market giveaways, and I find this a little disheartening. I was hoping to find a few "Tron Uprising" toys on the shelf, but none yet. We are kind of in a mid-season break, so if Tron Uprising comes back "gangbusters", perhaps we will see some toys on the shelf for Christmas.
If Tron ever catches on as a "lucrative" franchise for Disney, then I firmly believe the Arcade Aid poster will be valued collector's item and not just a sentimental fanboy possession.

I wish I could bring my AA poster up for Bruce to sign at DragonCon, but I will be limiting it to my ENCOM badge.
