[OT] Beekeepers' Halloween Costumes Yes, this is really, really, -really- off-topic, and if someone blasts this post, I won't be offended, but I'd like to see what you all come up with for Halloween costumes this year.
I'm game: This year, Stay-Puft. Made entirely by hand, by yours truly. I considered using part of the environmental suit I used in the "Vac Suit" picture for Melissa, but that sucker's waterproof and muy hot.

I'm very tempted to dress up as an enhottenated axon this year...

I am being Rogue from Xmen evolution (I like her outfit better) and my boyfriend is going as Gambit.
Everyone on three.
One.
Two.
Three.
Aww!
I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll take one soon and post it. I think the costume is awesome! Rogue is awesome!
Yes, not only do I like RPGs, ARGs, anime/manga, and books.... I like Xmen too. *ding ding ding* I think we have a winner for dorkiest girl on the forum!

atdt, you and your friends certainly go for elaborate costumes! i only hope that our guests on friday are as enthusiastic
i'm not doing much this year... just "the devil", black suit, horns, goatee... i'm sure this thread will have more pictures from everyone after this weekend
hyacinthe, my fiance absolutely LOVES Rogue and Remy, she wanted to do that this year, but couldn't quite figure out how to do it cheaply... we're planning for next year though!
last year i was Indiana Jones, my costume even came wired for sound, i hid an mp3 player and a pair of little speakers in my satchel, playing the John Williams Indy theme
i don't know why, but i look really chubby in this picture for some reason, but its the only one i could find

Awesome! I've wanted to have my own theme music for a costume for forever.

that sta-puft costume looks big enough that you could hide speakers in it somewhere, playing the ghostbusters theme song
the best part of the music was that i didn't have it up very loud, just enough so people heard it, but couldn't tell where it was coming from... after i revealed the source, a few people commented that they weren't even sure if they heard it for real, or if they were imagining it! it really 'sold' the costume so-to-speak on a psychological level

Go as an Axon Hunter! Here's what you need:
-printouts of GPS locations from Mapquest
-Some type of voice recorder w/lanyard around your neck.
-bee stickers to put on phones
-fake telco outfit/equipment to keep people from using payphones when you are expecting a call!
-assorted apparel from CafePress
Or you could just dress up as a dancing robot.

I've got everything but the hat to be an Officer. I mean, my coat is kinda officer ish (not that I don't wear it almost every day), and I've got a good pair of pants for it, but... Yeah. No funds for anything else. ;_;

My wife is big into "themes" for our family. We went one year as the "Princess and the Pea", yah guess who was the pea , this year our 4-yr-old boy is Peter Pan, 2-yr-old girl is Tinkerbell, and we be pirates ARG!
Cute kids and a sexy wife, what more could a man ask for?

I'm putting on a hoodie, scrawling 28:16:42:12 on my left forearm in sharpie, and going as Donnie Darko.

I was MC Pee Pants at a party last weekend, but the costume wasn't that great. This weekend I'll probably be Rasputin or a caveman or something else involving my beard.

A nod to the MC PeePants costume.
I'm going As Ignignot, one of the mooninites from the center of the moon. A friend of mine is going as Err.

now if you could just get a friend to spring for Frank's "stupid bunny suit", i think the mask is available... but expensive
these are all great ideas, i love the ATHF villians... for the mooninites, are you doing big cardboard sheets or something?
make sure that you get plenty of pics this weekend, i can't wait to see this thread on Monday!
