I was masky for halloween last year, I got the mask at a party city. It was plain and white, had to do the black with sharpie. No one gets it, at all, but everyone said it was super creepy. Shows that masky is just as creepy out of context.
This year I'm going as hoody I think.
If you go to the slenderman mythos section of the forums there's a good thread on making a good slenderman. However like pravado said, it looks dumb if you're not freakishly tall.
If a lot of people there know marble hornets you could go as sad panda, or skully, as a joke.

From my experience, you can get a blank white mask at any Micheal's craft store. I bought one there and just colored it with a black sharpie.
Or you could make a black cloth mask and be hoodie.

I did a Halloween as LOLFag Man once. Granted, it helped that at least a few of my friends got it.
But at least your thing won't be as awkward to explain. When your costume's NAME has the phrase "lolfag" in it, it isn't going to go uphill from there.
Anyway, if you can't do Masky, then you could try Hoodie. If you can get a see-through mesh, it should be pretty easy.

This makes me want to be Foldy solely so that no one gets the reference.

Match the jacket as closely as possible.

Don't forget the sideburns.

If you're going as the Operator, here's some advice: Get a suit that's about two or three times smaller than your size and wear platform shoes-- that's how they made Angus Scrimm (The Tall Man from the Phantasm movies) who is already very tall to begin with appear eight feet tall.
