Well i will help with season 2 but id like to start from the beginning.

At this point, it would be really hard to do that. By reading through this thread from the beginning, you should be able to get a really good hold of everything up until now. I remember last year each episode was backed up OOG for future participants, but I'm not sure if they're still up. FAILTECH has grown so much, it's mindboggling awesome.

Trout me on this if it's been mentioned! But I forgot to say Scott told me that I would help researching some "historical artifacts" retrieved from a safe that was acquired from Duo Corp. I tried asking LAINSY about the artifacts, but she had no knowledge of them.

Well first off how to i get one of these magical key-cards. they're mentioned everywhere.

Unfortunately, the key cards seemed to have been sent out to people who have played the game well since the beginning. The good thing is, we are sharing every bit of info we get from them with this thread.

It's my understanding that the PMs selected 3 players active in the forums to send the keycards to, knowing that we would share our findings with the rest of the players. I don't believe the keycards themselves will end up playing a big factor in the game. I sure hope not, if so I have to ask for that card back from my friend who owns an NFC-capable phone!

Hey all, I got an email from Patrice Heinz aka Netspec (netspecSPLATtechnologist.com)! As if we don't have ENOUGH to deal with, there seems to have been a security breach at Cliffside Labs that her spy network has picked up about:

Just a short "orientation" post from me to the new people and new lurkers...

We are now on season 2, as officially announced, and the start of it seems that the Nox Ordo (an ancient group of people who claim they are destined to go to the stars) have stolen a ship manufactured by FAILTECH.

Ok, a little history lesson... FAILTECH, as they claim themselves, is an international company that has branches in several industries but primarily is a scientific research company. They claim to hold roughly 60% of global market influence (directly from them, or through partnerships with other companies, institutions, organizations, and even governments). We encountered FAILTECH last year roughly this time of the year (summer) when an ad over google lead to their website... Which was on lockdown. The site that previously had some info on the beginnings of of FAILTECH through the ads is gone.

We came in contact with an employee named Genus. From there, we met Daniel Miller, Alexander Sword, and other FAILTECH directors. We also came to know the Afyg... Which are humans from the future who are bound to get revenge to humanity by getting their revenge to the past humans (us, present time)... Meanwhile, a small subfaction of the Afyg we working on helping humanity rise up faster and be able to defend ourselves from the Afyg and lead to the creation of FAILTECH. (I don't remember what each of those factions are called, too lazy to go through all the pages in this thread)

Then later on a far future organization named Oriru Serku came along and helped put the Afyg back into the future and thwart the inbound invasion of the Afyg.

Ok, that wasn't so "little" as I wanted to, but that's as short as I could get it to. So now, this new faction Nox Ordo appears to be Oriru Serku from the future and was sent into way in the past for some reason we still have to know. However, the Nox Ordo has lost their initial objective and has moved into simply "going into the stars" whatever they want to do with the stars.

Then, this Cliffside Labs came along which has been mentioned to us by Inno Ellis who has been doing some practice activities for us with Althea Rosso. From the Cliffside website, we found the ItAllStarted.com website which seems to be putting up logs from a dying ship somewhere out there in space. We then came in contact with it's captain, where we were actually talking to a virtual copy of the captain since the captain seems to be in stasis along with the rest of it's crew (and in the verge of death due to lack of power). Additionally, this ship is a future failtech ship. How it got here to the past is still unknown. It seems this ship was heading towards a planet and possibly the first planet humans will colonize (since the captain reports the planet is called "alpha")

Somewhere along the way, Genus who was in pursuit of the stolen ship disappeared along with the stolen ship. Later on, the stolen ship has re-appeared and has possibly met with the dying failtech ship from the future. Genus and his ship are still missing.

Now, an intel fro Patrice (thanks to Posse) tells us about a biohazard being stolen from Cliffside.

Here's the breakdown of what we are still trying to figure out:
1. What is the stolen ship (hull number 00023) doing with the future failtech ship (named Pioneer)? If 00023 indeed had rendezvous with the Pioneer.
2. We are still investigating Nox Ordo's objectives. We have the Rifter (named Kaido) work for us by impersonating a Nox Ordo member.
3. We are investigating the mysterious person who intercepted the package sent to a couple of players. So far, the person has sent us an SSTV image and we found out that he/she is possibly from the Intelligence Department (and possibly works for Fred Don, FAILTECH's founder and big boss)
4. A way to get into Nox Ordo's archives. We have the phone number, but no access code. Website seems to be running, but we don't know how to query from it.
5.Any other relevant concerns?

I might have missed some, so I hope I got most. I'm still looking at this carefully and will barge in anytime I find out something.

If I remember correctly, the two Afyg factions were the Byruniuku and the Orkudosu. I'm going off of memory for that spelling. I forget which one was the more 'benevolent' group over the other, too.
