Been messaging Hale back and forth for a couple days, but I wanted to wait until I had something concrete befor posting.

Looks like Horizon are merely "tools" of an entity called Sparrow...

Here are the emails (read bottom up); I also "applied" for a job at Horizon and got the same reply as above.

It is a shame, doctor, for Horizon does indeed do a good deed through saving these children from a life in the desert or on the streets of a city, but it of course is sickening to know that they simply tools to Sparrow and the like.

Akamu, there are a lot of stories going around, and I'm getting nervous. Several of my friends who could be considered "rebellious" have received communications inviting them to apply for employment with Horizon. Word has begun to travel about Horizon's hiring policies, and it makes me sick. To think that they essentially brainwash innocent children into doing their dirty work...

Can you give me any further information about how Horizon gains access to so many children, and what they do to "train" them? Such information might prove useful to my friends who are going undercover within Horizon. I'm so very worried for them....

I have attached a picture of Makua, one of the two who were originally left in my care. It occurs to me that by some strange coincidence, his name is an anagram for your own. He is much larger than the other, Makuahine, and tends to gobble down much more than his fair share of the Razorkan I set out for them each morning and evening! Needless to say, he's becoming increasingly moody as his hunger intensifies.

I do hope this photo of Makua moves you to do what you can. Their pitiful whines for food are breaking my heart...
