 		Got the recruitment notice. Read through the ENTIRE thread.

A few questions that we can sort through together:
-What's up with the length of the audio clip? There's a lot of silence at the end.
-Why is it so important that we listen to it?
-WTF does LISA stand for?

I'm going to go ahead and apply for the job without saying anything to Kai. I'd rather not bombard him and there's plenty of you talking to him right now. Tempted to try "talking" to the machine/program on Horizon's end by using programming commands. Or pseudo-commands, since it's been a few years.

EDIT: I was too lazy to type in pseudo-commands. Here's what I sent:

In my most recent message to Horizon I did ask what LISA stands for as well. Authentication and security clearances as well. Guessing we won't hear anything new till at least Teusday, special weekend and all.

 		Just had a look at the source code of one of the pages the text was disappearing on in Chrome. Seems totally normal to me and I don't think there's any javascript involved.

Also, as far as I can tell the text that doesn't disappear when highlighted doesn't mean anything and the text that disappears when highlighted doesn't mean anything either. At least not to me.

So I still haven't gotten any information back from Hale or Horizon. We'll see how much I can get out of them all...

Same here. I went to work, went drinking, come home hung-over to all this - it's a nice way to wake up!

Now, seeing as how I was busy all weekend, I didn't get much conversation in. I asked them a bit more about themselves, and got this in response.

 		I contacted Hale yesterday, telling him a friend of mine had received one of the packages. I asked for more information about his plans to help those of earth. He responded with basically the same information everyone else has received, with perhaps a new tidbit which I've bolded...

I produce music and use alot of different software and even with a few years under my belt some times I forget to move the stop bar closer to the end of the song its like this I made a 3 minute song but the software does this auto add and puts on more empty space thinking I want to record more but.... if you are done with the recording and forget to move it closer to the last few notes it will end up have the unfortunate long emptiness so it could be as simple as them forgetting to edit it.

 		Obvious to me, but maybe not everyone else.

2260 - "when criminals attempted but failed to murder President Sparrow"
2260 - "group that attempted, yet failed, to overthrow Horizon" / revolution

So.... I'm guessing that President Sparrow is either the president of Horizon or Horizon is responsible for protecting him. (For those in the US: think Secret Service.)

Since Horizon views the previous revolutionaries as criminals, it's not a huge jump to assume that they'd view anyone even thinking about planning a revolution as criminals as well. Even their website has a pretty black and white definition of crime -- in particular, I'm thinking about the story of the man who stole bread to feed his family.

Hale and Kai could be putting themselves in grave danger by being involved in whatever they are trying to get going. I wouldn't be surprised if the original group was executed silently and without ceremony.
