"Popular" doesn't even begin to describe it. While I'm happy that there's an event in Austin, I'm sad that I'm going to miss all the Goddess festivities in Chicago. Wink

Poor thing. We'll think of you, at least until something else distracts our short attention spans. Razz

Very nice.

When I get home, I might see if I can stick a little gold crown on the bee.

Superdunner, I *loved* that idea and thank you for your work, but I like Hyacinthe's bee better. Sorry. Embarassed

You can e-mail danatwingSPLATgmail.com (and/or ladybee777SPLAThotmail.com?). Leaving a message on Dana's voice mail might also work, but everybody else seems to be doing e-mail and getting confirmation that way.

I sent my email Tuesday Night at 11:51pm.

No confirmation.

I just re-submitted. Here's hoping...

Make sure you put the proper heading in the subject:

"<City> - <Name>, <Rank>"
e.g.
"Austin - Trynian, Maj."

Thanks, Superdunner, for making the little guy though. He is adorable. I'm going to make a sticker out of him and put him on my car.

Chicago event peeps (wow, ghettolicious phrasing), we gotta party! Lets put our heads together and figure out a place to party it up at.

Edit:

I wanted to make for sure this is the whole of the Goddess Army:
Phaedra, Kali, Krystyn, Hyacinthe, KirstenS, and Angelo.

well the gameworks is right there but its 21 and over after 9

if you are referring to earlier that would be good. its also in the parking lot of woodfield mall. Probably one of the larger in the area. Plenty of restaurants and bars right there...even a medeival times...

Yep. If anyone else wanted in, they had their chance.

I am off the under 21 sort, unfortunately. I think everyone else is over though, so if you guys want to go there, don't let me hold you back.

I figured we all could get a bit of lunch/early dinner, and then head over to... erm.. does anyone know exactly where the event is? I figured Melissa would get a little more detailed... but she didn't in my confirmation email.

Looking at the map its at the entrance to the streets of woodfield. i am planning to go to there sometime in the morning and check stuff out. i am under 21 as well but i am down for doing lunch in the morning/afternoon before the check-in starts.

Here is a site with a little information on the streets of woodfield. i cant find an official site for it thouh.
http://www.mccafferyinterests.com/content/completed/streets_of_woodfield.htm

in the second picture is the gameworks and lowes that i think may be involved in this. i have sent emails to both and am awaiting a response.

heres the official site for the mall that is right there.
http://www.gowoodfieldmall.com/

woodfield mall is in the same general parking lot/area as the streets of woodfield. there was a mapquest map that showed this earlier in the thread. if people want to hang out or eat this is one good place for it. plenty of restaurants and such there.

I'm all for the early dinner idea. We have to drive straight home after the event, so we can't party it up with you afterwards. Sad
