Alex R. Kralie=ARK Theory

Djeezna wrote:
About the whole Alex R. Kralie thing debunked, didn't someone post some picture where the word Alex becomes Ark (l and e together make the R then move the x around a bit to become k). That one was unlikely but very cute in my opinion haha.
I've never heard of the ARK theory being debunked, but I think that Alex being the ARK is very possible, unless it did already get debunked.

I'm not sure if the Alex = ark theory has been officially debunked by Trosephim or not, but I'd be kind of disappointed if it turned out that the mysterious ark was just Alex the whole time. It'd be a boring, anti-climatic reveal, IMO.

Hmm.

ToTheArk is looking for The Ark (obviously).

If Alex is The Ark, then ToTheArk already knows where The Ark is. Remember Entry 45, people? Hoody was outside Alex's apartment at the beginning of the entry.

So therefore, Alex = The Ark is, well, stupid.

This is a good point. I might even extend it a bit: Totheark has shown a remarkable ability to know where everyone is at all times. TTA has been shown to keep tabs on Jay, Tim, and Alex at various times. It makes me think it unlikely that the Ark is any person. The closest plausible thing to that that I can imagine would be some kind of state of mind that Jay has to achieve, like if TTA has to have Masky beat him until he reaches Operator nirvana. Still, I think it's much more likely that the ark is a literal place or data store of some kind.

Kralie = Il rake.

Alex is the rake. And he's Italian. And Marble Hornets crosses over with Everyman HYBRID. And therefore in the same universe as TribeTwelve. And some really bad acting. Noah has the Ark. My work here is done.

But seriously, totheark is a typo and it should have been tothebark. The channel's run by Rocky and Seth's dog. BONES.

If you believe that Hoody is TTA then it would be a total contradiction to believe that alex is TTA (entry where masky and hoody jump alex).

Anyways, the question that drives me crazy is trying to figure out hoody's intentions in bringing tim and jay working together. How does that benefit him? Unless you believe that Jay and Tim will take him to the ark...whatever that is lol

Everyone seems so quick to assume that ToTheArk means whoever is behind that page is looking for the ark.

What about if it's the other way around? What if whoever runs that account knows what the ark is, and they're trying to lead someone to the ark...

If someone could point me to the indication that the Ark is actually a physical thing and not just a metaphor or cryptic reference then I will take this discussion seriously. Until then, we're better off discussing things with substance to them rather than a completely unsupported idea that has spun off the name of a cryptic YouTube account and a few random references in otherwise cryptic text. If we're going to treat the "Ark" as a literal thing and not just a random crypticism, then we'd better start figuring out who the twins are, what origins we're meant to look to, what lakes in stillness will be taking the lives of the night, and so on and so forth.

Best thing ever.

There's a TTA video with a voiceover that says something like this:

totheark wrote:
We will wait for you no more. Control is being taken away from you. From the beginning this was a game for us. Not anymore. I'm coming, and you will lead me to the ark.

I don't know if that's exactly right because I'm too lazy to look it up, but yeah.

Speaking of the ark possibly being a metaphor, has anyone considered that it could just mean "safety" as in the Biblical ark? Or if you go by the other meaning of "ark" as some people have suggested, maybe it means "answers" since it seems that's all anyone in any slenderseries is ever looking for. lol

I was considering the idea that the ark is related tO the biblical story. The ark is a vessels of sorts that protects those inside from the metaphorical "flood".

I think we've strayed a little off-topic. There are countless threads for Totheark speculation, and the Ark speculation, though interesting, would be far better off in its own thread. Entry 62 has little to do with these topics.

I wonder, myself, about the significance of the building that they wake up in/around. Many people have pointed out similarities between it and other such places in other videos, but that's pretty hard to prove. I'm wondering whether it might have any significance to Tim himself, given that that's where he ends up with Jay. Perhaps it's the place that he went to during his mental episode as a child?

I think Masky's ability to "sense" Jay was pretty interesting (as some people mentioned earlier). The way that he suddenly shot out his arm and grabbed Jay was probably the creepiest part of this entry for me. And, if I recall correctly, there was a significant amount of noise distortion at that exact time. It got me thinking that maybe Masky uses the same ability that the Operator uses to find people without sight. That could explain why both cause similar distortion on cameras.

Are people really doubting that the hut that Jay wakes up in is not in Rosswood, when he wakes up and he's all like "LOL TIM DUDE, I THINK WE'RE STILL IN THE PARK 'N STUFF."

We know that finding and the encounter with Masky, occur in Rosswood. No sense Masky has dragged Jay to another wooded area, or Hoody has dragged both, so I think they are in Rosswood (I think anyone has said otherwise) but just what Jay says is that he not recognize the place, they believe they are still in Rosswood.

Tim does not recognize the place after all. I do not think there has been awakened at other times ...
