 		Oh boy...
I remember the first time I saw this game on PewDiePie's channel (I'm a bro)

Not only is that game one of the most excellently crafted yet simple games around, it certainly propitiates upon good ol' fashioned shock valuie and long lasting silent scare techniques. It scared the crap out of me and I would go on for days too afraid to play the game.

The highest I got I believe was four pages. And the graphics are at the console level imho.

However, one of the forums I go to has a different opinion. Everybody there seems to hate the game and the fans of the game, it is really disappointing. Doesn't matter to me though.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but a lot of us here on this forum have issues with the fans of the game. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Agent Parsec has issues with some of the fans. We have no reason to hate the game though. It's just some people act like they know what they're talking about when they don't know anything about it and it's an annoyance to those of us who have been in the slender man mythos for longer than a month or so. And I'm not saying we're all such veterans in the verse or anything it's just......blegh

They called it "Too Simple" and "Cliche" and I didn't agree.
I understand what you are saying and it also gets on my nerves. I have read through this ENTIRE topic so I obviously know that you guys don't like Bro's or at least most of them. I don't act like most bro's.

 		The gameplay is simple & cliche.

But the attraction of the game isn't in the gameplay, it's the way it sucks you in, & unnerves you. When people dismiss it so simply, I question their level of honesty. Not that I'm saying it isn't possible for someone to genuinely not give a damn about the game. What I'm saying is that a lot of dislike comments come across as trying to be too cool for it.

The other day I was breezing through the game like a boss. I got 5 pages without even detecting a hint of the title character. Then I took a left turn & he killed me instantly. Like a dick.

You call yourself a bro for liking a video game vlog. That in itself annoys me to no end to be honest. Like kitten punching level of annoyed.

I feel so bad for parsec. He just wanted to create a creepy slenderman game, and practice/learn unity. Now half the slenderverse hates him for dragging in illiterates, and he's being judged on the game as though it was meant to be a full game in its current state.

Though I will say this is true for a lot of the slenderverse, I honestly don't have any strong feelings for Parsec. If anything I think he's a cool guy for being able to make the game like he did. I just really don't like the new part of the verse. Ugg.

 		Frankly, I don't even know what a PewDiePie is. I watched his Slender video, & it only made more confused. Is he supposed to be funny? Is the joke that he's terribly incompetent? I don't understand what is going on.

Not sure if aimed at me but: I realize that the game isn't "complete," but I doubt it's going to go through some hugely revolutionary change in gameplay that totally reshapes it from the ground up. It doesn't need it, & it would probably detract from the scare factor. I don't consider "simple" or "cliche" to be dirty words.

Actually, it is going through a major change. I'm working with some developers to turn it into a longer game, complete with storyline. And before you ask, no, I'm not making the story anything that will work against the SM mythos.

 		Not too much about the overall gameplay will change. The plan, however, is to have a series of about 5 levels taking place in different areas, with slightly different objectives in each and advancing difficulty. The woods level is currently planned to be the second level, and we might end up making it slightly easier than it is now so that it's not so hard to complete. All of it is bound together with a storyline.
