So, I've been trying to avoid pestering people with this problem, but since this thread is slow, I'll give it a go:

Remember when I said I've been having difficulty getting the EMH Ustreams to load?

Yeah. Does anyone know what I can do for that? Like a way to change video quality? An add-on? Anything?

Hey everyone I just created this account on the Unfiction forums today, specifically to take part in this thread after reading a majority of its posts, watching all the EMH videos, reading all related tweets and content, and doing a bit of research and knocking around in my head with what the hell is happening with the series so I wanted to take the time and share some of my findings after re-watching the latest video release of EMH, the property, as well as some of my thoughts on them. I apologize for any lack of sense being made as I've been getting little sleep as of late and life hates me when I get less than my 8 hours lol. So yeah I'll just jump right in it, shut up and let my findings do the talking for a while.

Facts of interest: The Property

-(3:20) Vinny finds Alex's airhorn and hears his voice, accompanied by red video distortion we also see later.

-(3:58) Vinny goes out of his way to mention he doesn't remember there being doors there in Jeff's house. (Possibly Jeff's house in a different time. Also if possible I'd like to see if theres any footage of Jeff's ground floor we can compare to what he finds after coming upstairs following Alex's voice)

-(4:15) Possible time slip forward to when Vinny is hiding in the bathtub, featuring the same red video distortion we see both when he hears Alex and sees Slenderman at the bottom of Evans staircase.

-(4:49) Immediately after hearing Alex's voice Vinny has now teleported outside the bathroom where he finds what appears to be fresh bandage dressings and first aid from the Rakes first attack on Jeff's younger brother.

-(4:54) The bathroom door is open and something is causing us to hear footsteps and the sounds of a baby and small children laughing

-(4:57) Vinny shuts the door and the laughing warps into violently confused and hateful cries

-(5:15) Vinny has hidden in the shower and we can see the shower curtains are the same as we saw at 4:15.

-(6:22) The door that Vinny retreats into later trying to escape Slenderman is locked.

-(6:27) Slenderman appears and pulls Vinny towards him (Or Vinny is so weakened by his sudden appearence, like from his black vomit starting to rise, he tumbles down the stairs on his own) and we again see the SAME red distortion featured alongside Alex's disembodied voice

-(7:47) Vince finds Steph's painting (I'll make a few notes about the painting and possible significance later)

-(7:49) We start to hear water running or some weird static, which then ends about 25 seconds later when he walks toward the tv screen

-(8:13) Strange screechy sounds come from the tv and a clip from the original EMH health show plays. We see the brief shot shown in capture3 on page 132 of this thread and the strange screechy sound shows up again as Vince is now shown parts of the drowning footage.

-(8:30) We are told this is Stephs apartment he's walked into. (Unsure whether this means a room in Evan's house or where she stayed before moving in with the EMH cast)

-(8:34) Vince thinks he hears someone back in his basement

-(8:44) When Vince closes the door between Stephs apartment and his basement it seems to close the connection between them and end the video playing on the tv behind him.

-(10:07) We see the Black and White figures who appear to be Vince(standing up), Steph(curled up in a ball to his left), and I'm assuming Jeff(just behind vince) because of the suit the figure appears to be wearing, similar to the one he's seen wearing in -.-. (If Evan is in there somewhere as well I'm unable to find him)

-(10:20) Vinny sees Slenderman, for whatever reason, in Evans house again. It should be noted the angle of his head might portray some form of curiosity**, and aside from the eminent video distortion caused by his presence he does nothing but observe until Vinny is taken away by another.

-(10:28) The door previously locked is now opened by the DOCTOR*, showing that either he teleported into the room behind it at the last second or was for some reason waiting until Vin's close call with Slenderman to come to the rescue.***

-(11:32) The DOCTOR reveals that the monsters have some particular interest in Vinny

-(11:35) The DOCTOR tells us that Vinny can't stay wherever it is he has brought them to.****

-(11:45) The DOCTOR mentions Vinny's "brother" and "sister" being there with him, most likely being Steph and Jeff or Steph and Evan.*****

-(12:10) Heavy purple video distortion covers the screen, the color being HABITS calling card, and we are able to see the DOCTOR's eyes behind the dark shades he is wearing. (I somehow feel as if this is important somehow that the purple distortion is what shows us his eyes, and when I watch the DOCTORS eyes during this segment something seems wrong about them, but I'm not sure. I'd appreciate some feedback about this.)

*In order to prevent bias toward any particular theory and save time I have taken to calling this man the DOCTOR, as we have no conclusive proof whether he is truly Dr. Corenthal, HABIT. The concessions made in the name to both theories should be self evident.

**If indeed this should be described as curiosity or confusion on the part of Slenderman then perhaps it is because it is not Slenderman who is responsible for teleporting Vinny about in such a seemingly chaotic fashion and our friend Slendy has merely followed his metaphysical trail to discover who or what it is mimicking his own abilities.

***If Dr. Corenthal is who Vin is 'rescued' by then it would be odd for him to wait around inside a locked room, and he only could have shown up somehow at the last second to save him. However if HABIT is who we are dealing with it makes sense that he would bide his time and wait until Vin appeared to be in some moment of crisis to come to his rescue and manipulate the trust of both Vinny and the audience and to some unknowable purpose deceives into fearing the Slenderman even more than before, perhaps trying to intercept him or prevent something from happening between Slenderman and Vinny

****Were this HABIT in disguise, he wouldn't want Vinny sticking around and getting wise to what he really has going on behind the scenes in the inHABITed sanctuary, but alteratively if it really is Dr. Corenthal in some shape or form then why is he just dumping Vinny off back in his world with no other help or guidance than to run? To me this is all just a very strange choice for Dr. C to be making and an advantageous one to HABIT for keeping Vinny clueless and confused.

*****Once again, in the instance HABIT were trying to trick Vinny it is most likely this means Steph(speculated to be gone or trapped by HABIT) and Jeff(known to be trapped by HABIT), both of whom he is keeping prisoner in his sanctuary, while Evan is simply elsewhere. (I'm tempted to suggest the possibility we are actually looking at HABIT in the body of Evan using some form of illusion to disguise himself as Dr. Corenthal, though it seems more likely that if we are dealing with HABIT that he is controlling both Evan and Corenthal with his influence.)



Theories, Ideas and Other stuff:

Something I took a real interest in was the appearance of Steph's painting in Vince's basement, for a number of reasons.

First being the most obvious, that it is placed there as some form of clue or foreshadowing. From my current understanding of Stephanie and my observation of the painting itself, it is an expression of her hopelessness and suffering caused by the Slenderman's presence in her life and the persistant nightmares he caused her. Possibly she feels as though she is being made a fool of through her inability to do anything that might stop or at least hinder the Slenderman in any way, as if she is a pawn helplessly under the thumb of his faceless gaze. (hence the jesters hat and her seemingly motionless or resigned posture/expression in the painting as tentacles tighten around her and she stares out of the canvas with tears in her eyes staring out of the canvas) If this is the case then, in my mind, its presence signifies that Vinny is soon to be a fool at the whim of their pale pursuer.

Second, being a suggestion that Slenderman may not be responsible for some or even any of the teleportations and time slips which Vinny experiences throughout the video. To me, the coincidence is baffling that just as Vince discovers something that reminds him of Steph he discovers a portal/doorway to Stephs apartment. This idea is reinforced by the fact that after being led through Jeff's house by the haunting voice of Alex, Vince finds himself in Alex's bathroom, and again by the passive and almost curious posture/expression of the Slenderman after finding him upstairs shortly before being taken to the sanctuary by the DOCTER. While a majority of the teleportations would be far harder to make such a connection with, it seems to me from these examples that Vinny has at least some abilities similar to those displayed by Slenderman, and that perhaps the incident with Alex's voice and Stephs painting are more specific and controlled occurrences than the rest of the video where Vinny is teleporting about with no specified stimulus or trigger and arriving at locations at random.

This theory makes sense to me but the only factor missing is why Vinny started teleporting in the first place and why now.

The biggest hole in my understanding of the video is when we see the B&W figures of Vince, Steph, and Jeff, believed to be indicating time travel.

Personally I believe that some form of "respawning" as it has been labeled, has to occur in order for the series to make sense, In particular due to the Halloween Hangover and Twenty Four Months videos, but I cant bring myself to buy into the Candleverse and the alternate versions of EMH who exist there, reiterating their envoys over again for each cycle. Rather, I tend to believe for now that what Vincent sees in Evans basement as he is traveling through time and space is another iteration of those three people, using the term iteration as an idea best represented by a game save file. What he saw in Evans basement may have been an old game save file that the current one has overwritten due to numerous respawns having taken place and some more progress in the story.

So yeah, its got its fair share of holes and its probably too fucking long for any of you to read (xD sorry about that) but thats basically most of the things I got out of the property footage. My thoughts are a bit scattered and things a bit chaotic when I got to my theorizing section so please ask for clarification where needed and maybe some things I noticed can start the motions toward some real answers.

This being Labor Day reminds me that Steph--assuming she hasn't been time-warped--should be delivering any day now. Shouldn't she? I'm not super up on how pregnancy works, but if she took a pregnancy test around December 24, doesn't that suggest the conception was a couple of weeks earlier? According to this gestation calculator, a conception date of December 10, 2011, suggests a due date of around September 1, 2012.

I guess what I'm saying is that it'd be neat if the potential HABITspawn were born on Labor Day, because I like horrible puns.

Honestly, I find it easier to follow than Marble Hornets. There is a clear antagonist, & though the truth about it is questionable, there are suggestions about what his "villainous plot" is. There aren't a lot of flashbacks, flashforwards, or flashesinflashes. Everything pretty much falls into 1 of 2 timelines. If crazy time travel is involved, it is clearly signaled with explanations & visual cues like the monochrome.
