 		So I sent Akamu my mailing address requesting a copy of the manual be sent to me. This was the reponse:

Seems to imply that unless you "opt-in" to recieving it you won't. Everyone who wants one, try to get your information in quickly!

 		I got 2 more emails from my new best friend Amaku today.

First one is a responce to the very first email I sent him and was a response to my story on why I contacted him. It was about locating family on Oceanus so the reply is not very interesting for this.

But the second mail is a response to the mail I sent this morning. (for me, loc. the Netherlands)

My mail, posted a page back.

As the blueprint talks about a listening station that has been/will be erected on Atlas, It reminded me of an old occurrence.

In 1977, a Signal was received on earth. This was long before things started to go bad here. In a much simpler time.
This signal was known as the WOW signal and was received in Delaware, Ohio. (This place is not known to me. It might be this city(?) is long gone)

The most interesting part is that the signal received originated from 19h 22m 24.64s right ascension -27*03' declination, and is. Until this day, the only known Alien radio signal ever received in human history.

I understand from my friend that, along with most of the humans, you think chance that there is alien life is very small. But, I was told that along with some of us you also have some hope there might be.

Therefore I thought this information would interest you. I'm sure, if you have the access, you have found this link yourself. But I don't know how much access you have to the old Eath databases, that's why I felt it necessary to report this to you.

Please let me know what you think of this fight and provide me with any further information regarding it.

Nicely done. Of course I especially like the way you used the info I got from Akamu about the (at least for now) non-existence of aliens and his feelings about that. You're a natural story teller.

An update about my fictional character's conversation with Akamu -

Not only is his favorite book The Time Machine by HG Wells, but, apparently he'll be sending me his "personal copy" of it by transport. I have no idea if this'll happen, if it'll be nothing more than a keep-sake or if it'll have a purpose of some kind.

If it comes, it won't matter if it's useful or not. It'll still be really cool to have gotten something real from someone who isn't.

Hello there,

This is my first post on any forum of this type (and my first ARG) but I thought I'd share a bit of correspondence I've received from our friend Mr Hale.

I've been using the story of doing a study on socially responsible companies as a way of getting info, so I sent this...

I have pledged to keep my employees, but my decision was made to make a point to the rest of Union, with the hope that others would see me put my own financial well-being on the line for those of you on Earth.

My opinion of the political events should be clear. I am for the freedom and well-being of those of you on Earth, therefore I am against the censorship and "security" that Horizon offers. It is a lie to keep you complacent, a fabrication to keep you afraid. When the veil is lifted, you will all see that while the Union is not perfect, you deserve the opportunity to be a part of it. On Earth, you deserve to have your old cities rebuilt, clean air outside of city walls, and the ability to travel outside of those walls.

I hope this information serves you well. I will be happy to provide more information if necessary. I would also love to read it, when it has been published.

ive sent him my address but i am yet to have a reply from him today ( dont think he likes me very much) anyway i got somthing back from LISA
