Oh god, he's going to read Wizard and Glass. Dude, all you need to know about that book is in the introduction to the first novel. Save yourself hours and days worth of reading. King summarizes it in about four sentences. Just skip to Wolves....

Seriously, that book about killed my interest in the Dark Tower series. TVtropes killed the rest when the series ending got spoiled for me.

Still, glad that this is still continuing. Anything from B13?

Nothing from B13 since April 15th.

I also think the time discrepancy with how long it's been since he posted is signifcant. I doubt the PM would make an error like that - I think if he's going to go to the trouble of mentioning the length of time since the last post, there must be a reason for it if it's clearly off.

Also, this guy is a way faster reader than I am. Or maybe just has more free time. I'm just finishing the first book. Although I'm glad I caught your advice, 12th, before getting to Wizard and Glass.

hello, finally delurking for this game after following MH since season 2. Embarassed

Just wanted to point out some stuff that I noticed in Serah's last blog entry and the Selznick video. Did anyone ever google 'cap with a red A'? I got the Alabama Crimson Tide football; a very tenuous tie to the DT books through the antagonist the Crimson King. Also, all the King characters in the Selznick vid are heroes or villains of their respective works and some of the major players like The Man In Black and Roland are alligned with either the 'red' eye of the Crimson King or the 'white'; representing chaos and order in DT, 'the random' and 'the purpose' in Insomnia.

Also, there's another time travelling link with George Amberson, an alias a character lives under in King's recent novel 11/22/63.

And finally, I think it's good that Drake's reading Wizard & Glass, it will give him the background on what the Orbs are all about. And there's a mention of the blue one in there towards the end.

...if you can't tell I've read a lot of King.

Hi, so I just discovered I Like Trees yesterday night and spent several hours reading the blog, The Redding File and this forum into the wee hours of the morning. But since there doesn't seem to be an update since May, I wanted to know if anyone knew the status of this particular game. Is is on hiatus of some sort, or cancelled?

Sorry if it's bad form to be asking. I'm very new to all things related to our tall friend and ARGs in general.
