Re: Non-crew crew...

Will post this elsewhere, but I have confirmation that you DO NOT need to have been a member of the registered crew (via live calls or photo submission) to be accepted for priority admission.

What is kind of depressing is that all the Halo2 news sites posted the 404 url and basically said "Do this to get a free sneak peak at Halo2". I'm imagining thousands of people submitted emails.

If non-crew are getting acceptance letters... Well, that kind of sucks.

Well, even though I haven't been as active in the game as some people, I've followed this game since the begining. I couldn't ever answer axons cause none were near me plus my work schedule didn't really allow me to travel far. I was going to submit my own axon but I didn't (stupid). So I mainly stuck to speculating and attempting to solve puzzles.

I've at least participated in the game enough where I feel like I'm apart of it. But you make a good point Machiavelli...if people who never discovered the game until now just start emailing to get a sneak peak, it does kinda bite. I would hate to see a fellow beekeeper shut out because of someone who just happened to find the link.

I'll also offer my desperate request that if someone's going to one of these parties and they're selling stuff, could you please get me something!? Very Happy being stuck up here isn't too nice, let alone not being a loyal crew member... I'll pay for whatever costs there may be including shipping afterwards, and maybe more as a thank you! Maybe, if I could get someone's cell #, and call during the event to find out what exactly's there (ie like if there's selections of stuff for sale or something, instead of randomly grabbing stuff, there might just be a couple things that would be good)

I dunno... I'd really love to get something from one of these events, and I'd be eternally greatful if someone could help me out here Smile sucks being out in the boonies... or over the lakes...

Confirmed:

Lt. Weephun,

Congratulations. Your name has been added to the admission list for
the San Francisco training event. Of course I have room for the
commander of my most impressive Boise Squad. I am surprised that you
would doubt that for a moment.

Idaho is a long way from San Francisco. I am most pleased by your
obvious dedication to our mission. Team Boise has always come through
for me. The solidarity and resourcefulness of your crewmembers is
also impressive. I am glad you are working together to ensure that
the most loyal crew members are able to attend our training event.

And due to the amazing community that is helping me get there, I will do all in my power to bring home and then subsequently send out to other beekeepers who were not able to make it all swag, details, etc that I can.

See you in SF!
