 		Alright, Ive also finally gotten fully caught up.

I've never been involved in one of these before and I'm eager to help out, but I don't really see much that I can do in the next few days (looks like I missed the boat on the guides and applications). I'm just going to try going over the details and seeing if anything connects.

Also (because I'm new at this) I have a question about Amelie (the sales woman from a while back). Is it normal or unusual for a character like her to be introduced only to have her disappear within a day? The detective in me says to look in to her because 'why would the bother introducing her otherwise?' But the noob in me says I'm only thinking that way because I'm new at this.

So I suppose the suspense comes to a conclusion tomorrow? Fingers crossed Smile
Also, I doubt this is important, but in this reply, the "You have contacted the general communications line" line was purple. Could be nothing, but it'd nag at me if I didn't throw it out there.

 		Yeah, I got the same response to my recent email, which was a continuation of yesterdays convo. Looks like LISA the AI is back in control. Which means the theory that she was "hacked" yesterday and someone or something else was communicating with us seems pretty accurate.

Agreed. My conversation with her also abruptly changed to the email you all received as well. Guess we'll find out which one of us is the lucky loner tomorrow.

 		So, the intruder was either completely purged from LISA's systems, along with the record of anything happening, or, the intruder left LISA's systems, removing any traces of them having been there.

Same result either way, but, if it was an ancient entity, where is it now? Atlas? Elsewhere? Here on Earth?

I am absolutely certain none of those books talk about ancient aliens. The common ground is evolution. The ancient alien-theory is about how we evolved, so is Origin of the Speices and The Time Machine. Three completely different theories of how we evolved, afaik.

I think there's enough to indicate alien involvement for us to keep the option open, but far from enough for us to settle on it.


My bad, I thought you were saying the books being included in the ARG somehow supported the theory of aliens help us evolve.

Although I can't help myself from nitpicking a bit more - The Time Machine is a novel about what we evolve into in the future (less of a theory of how evolution happens) so I personally don't think it links in that way.

I just reckon the theory of aliens aiding our evolution doesn't come into this ARG at all - the only hint of aliens is the Wow! signal (correct me if I'm wrong).

Or The Time Machine book will be used as part of a code...just as Origin of Species was used to give us the " we will be there in due time" phrase.
