Bruce at Dragon*Con 2012 (and costumes, too)

I haven't posted since I got back from Dragon*Con this year. Bruce was there, and there were lots of good Tron costumes (even found one of our UF members there proudly wearing her "Flynn Lives" tshirts!).

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in seeing Bruce this time around. He seemed...bitter. He made jabs at his ex (or soon to be ex) wife, Andrea Katsulas (forgive my spelling, please, if I got his name wrong), kept referring to Babylon 5 (the main reason he was invited to DC) as "the past" and almost pulled a Shatner-esque "Get a life! Move on!" with respect to the fans of that show. Seriously, I'm a big admirer of Bruce and have met him before, but he just was not in a good mood at the con. And it's a shame.

For what it's worth, he did say that Tron was the "future". I'm interpreting the responses to mean that Tron is a paying gig so that's a future for him, whereas B5 is not.

I'll post some pics of costumes later today. In my opinion, the Tron costumes are getting better each year!

Oh! I completely parsed that sentence wrong. I thought it was Andreas who was dissing B5. Sorry! How's this?

Yes, this is very disappointing. I'm doing a rewatch of B5 now, finally found a library with seasons three and four for lending.
