If it can, do the number of end points for that particular file match the number of people who applied for Atlas? Can you recreate ANY part of this file.

It sounds like someone tampered with your memory core. How high a security clearance must a person have to get that close to you?

They would need an authenticator that granted them the proper clearance level.

The audio file you received was the file I was referring to. I was delivered this file yesterday and was instructed to deliver it to all applicants. That is my synthetic linguistic vocal routine, but I have no recollection of recording the audio file.


It's important to note that LISA says that she received the file and passed it along; that is, she did not record it herself. Also, it raises the question, who sent the recording? Another user has hypothesized that ALICE may have, but one must wonder how many other AIs use the same voice.

Wasn't Atlas "buried, then forgotten"?
Still getting this ..crazy self aware AI on a planet...vibe. To tie it into the revolution, maybe LISA was involved in the 2260 revolution ( i could be off on the year) and is starting to remember?

Seeing how Atlas is a planet, not just the name of the listening post, I doubt it was buried and forgotten. LISA had answered in the negative if Atlas was built and then forgotten.

So, we have something that was built then forgotten and something that was buried and forgotten.

LISA may have been buried and forgotten. I don't think we know what was built and then forgotten.

Is it a thing where LISA is used for on the ground stuff..while ALICE is solely inflight, travel stuff? LISA goes into ALICE mode in the air...then back to LISA mode on the ground? Or is there yet another facade of LISA that we won't see until we get to Atlas?
Sheesh, it's almost like a split personality was created in response to whatever happened on Atlas.

A coworker pointed out that the Atlas station ...listening station...could be like a SETI type of thing. Now, this turns creepy...as if ATlas is listening for aliens, that could explain why Atlas was ..buried then forgotten.

We've got possibly 3 2 AIs that I'm aware of. AI#1 = LISA (Used for ground/single point operations) AI#2 = ALICE (There are many copies of ALICE. Used for navigation and standard ship operation) AI#3 = (Theoretical with no solid proof as of yet) Previous Version of LISA (Possibly used on Atlas and attempting to infiltrate the current LISA AI)

I dont think it was buried in a literal sense. Like LISA, her memory may have been wiped clean..Something so horrible on Atlas may have caused the station to be abandoned, the planets existence wiped from every memory bank, and over time forgotten about.

 		I'm still bothered by the "you will be put to a good use" bit. Asked LISA about it.

As for the audio, I'll edit and upload the clips where I heard (or thought I heard) something. I noticed that I can barely hear the beeps without headphones on... and I could hear how it could be interpreted as ..-

EDIT: Apparently I misheard the "you will be put to a good use." LISA told me she said "it will be put to a good use."

 		Here's the edited version of the clip, shortened to what I thought I heard.

Also, random thought: what if the old revolutionaries managed to get into the system and tampered with LISA?

And, for update of Morse code possibilities, I've heard dit / dah dah dit over the entire clip now. Which is "E" "G".

Maybe she DID say "you will be put to a good use", but whatever foreign entity is controlling her (or whatever) modified her memory banks to make her think she said 'it'.

Also, I'm finally taking a look at the audio in Audacity, and I kind of hear a male voice in the background, along with some weird echoes.
