The Survivors
Request on stories with people who are still alive from Slendy.

Hey everyone. Just became a new member of this forum and also been researching on our bear hugging Slender Man himself and his traits, weakness, motives, etc. for months now. However I notice that there are LOTS of stories involving Slender Man which becomes too difficult for me to keep up. What I need if anyone can help me, is a list of stories, videos and online blogs, that can be narrowed to people who are still alive and people who have been killed by Slender Man and his agents. Or a link that will take me to the topic that has what I need would be good as well. Hopefully I'll get to participate in the many discussions involving our illusive tall man Smile.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Assuming nearly all series are conjoined and canonical, are you asking for the life/death status of every runner?
That would be very interesting to see..
If you're asking for a series ABOUT survivors of slendy... I'm pretty sure that's most of them.

Lol, asking for the life/death status of every runner if possible.

Given how many different stories there have been with runners in them.... That might not be possible. The slenderverse has several dozen vlogs (has anyone done a count of them recently?) and well over 200 blogs. Not all of those are about runners, but a significant number are, and I don't think anyone's managed to keep track of the status of each and every protagonist in those series.

Unless we made some sort of registry that every vlog and blog had to go to... Nah. Too limiting.

I do have a list and I'm currently going through and trying to update it with active and finished/inactive/deleted blogs. I don't have 100% all the blogs/vlogs, but most of what I could find is on there.

assuming active = alive runners and dead/inactive/finished = dead runners

On a long enough timeline, Slenderman encounters have a 100% mortality rate.

But then, the same is true for encounters with socks.

Just been on the website chasechan and you're doing a really amazing job with the list Smile. Also if anyone wants as of now, more lists can be included as well as talking about how people like the EH crew and Noah have the will to survive.

Noah survives on being so damn pretty.

I'm always amazed that these guys can just "go on the road" whenever they get a bit spooked. If I did that I pretty much wouldn't have a job anymore.

There's a pretty vibrant theory that suggests that Jay survives primarily through selling himself for hotel money.

And certain series do discuss it. But OH WAIT people don't read blogs. /rant

This has always been a fairly big beef for me. How do people manage to afford gas money, let alone hotels, on a budget that clearly cannot include any kind of work. Marble Hornets has come closer than any vlog to touching this topic with mentioning Tim's mental issues costing him jobs.

But none of the vlogs have really brought it up.

Pics or it didn't happen.

I don't know, no offense to Jay, but I don't know that he could earn a living wage as a rentboy. THERE I SAID IT.

With Marble Hornets I always assumed that someone else was paying for the hotel, and presumably paying for every other room in the hotel in order to ensure that it remained empty. Which then suggests maybe They (you know, Them?) OWN the hotel to begin with and aren't charging him rent at all because it would just give him an excuse to leave. If they can go weeks on end with only two guests, that's a pretty weird business model, and what if other guests DID show up? They could get really bad reviews if some guy they aren't screwing with checks in and spends the whole night having to listen to proxies thumping around the halls.

It's sort of anti-Occam's razor to assume the existence of an unseen outside agent, but it seems like the most logical explanation when the alternatives are that Jay is incredibly rich and chose to live in a cinderblock dorm Just Cuz; or that people in EH just keep giving knives to the one guy who I personally wouldn't trust with a tub of Play-Doh.

Tumblr. (I can use this for every situation where "Angora" cannot suffice.)

Also, I'd rent his services. *shrug*

Well, I know for a fact that Trosephim work. I also know Jeff does, and while I don't know the current employment status of Vinnie, Evan, and Adam (because I'm not a fucking stalker, jeez), I would assume they do as well. So their own personal OOG well-being is understood. In-series, it just chalks up to suspension of disbelief. I mean, hell, how many deaths have the HYBRIDs been connected with? They ought to be in jail. Shit like that. Suspension of disbelief.

Oh, OOG, I assume they all work. Fake blood don't pay for itself.

In-series, I dunno, you hope that they at least have it in mind. You have to have SOME idea if the characters' means though, otherwise the question of why they don't carry a bazooka at all times is always left hanging.

In summary: Suspension of disbelief is for the poor.
