I'm with Pravado on this one, and I don't think I've ever agreed with him in the past.

The MH twitter should be updated.

At the very least, Troy should update his blog or his twitter and tell us why the entries are taking so long to come out, or a rough time-frame for the next entry.

The waits are getting completely ridiculous, especially with the last two entries ending with a perceived feeling of "something is going to happen SOON."

It would take less than a minute to update either the OOG or IG twitter, and less than 5-10 minutes to make a blog post.

It's ridiculous.

What does it matter if they update the stupid twitter? It's never been crucial to the show, and it isn't now. If Jay and Tim, in the story, have a lot going on, why should they waste time with twitter? If nothing noteworthy is happening to them, same question. If it's an out of game thing, and Troy and co. don't feel like tweeting about it, how's that our business? Updating the MH twitter right now isn't the smartest idea, it's just an idea. They're not doing something wrong by not updating it. It's supplementary content.
The primary narrative tool (the videos) is what matters, and those can take a while. Explaining the delay ain't gonna make the entry come out any faster, so what difference does it make?

We just got a decent TTA video showing TTA is being stalked by the operator as well, it seems like he has a plan, and some possible significance in "the ark frame" that could be significant as well, so there shouldn't be too much raging

I would agree if this wasn't such a time sensitive story. For example, that 3 week wait we got, it turned out Jay was fine all along and just not updating us. IG, Jay makes a point to mention the fans and how we should be kept in the know (entry 59). I understand why it's not crucial, but from the start Jay has made it clear that he wants to keep us updated. Waiting 3 weeks to tell us what happened doesn't make much sense in game when him and tim most likely were working together since the end of that entry which took place 3 weeks earlier. And while it isn't crucial, it's still a fanservice.

Really though, it just offers an easy explanation for the IG gaps, and they seem to just not care about that factor anymore and that's my complaint. Even if it's miniscule updates, it still enhances the story for me to know what's going on with Jay behind the scenes outside of the entries we see. It helps build his character even if it's only a little.

As far as knowing when the entry comes out, i agree that it's not a necessity for them to tell us that, but it only pleases the fans, it never angers them. Keeping it a secret isn't really helping or hurting anyone.

My theory on the lack of Jay and/or Tim related activity, is that they're playing Slender as a training simulation for their next move. XD
