@Abalone: I don't see what you're looking at. All I can make out is a little clearing between two bushes/trees in the center that's hella contrasted. Is that what you're talking about?

The next entry will be worth it, almost guaranteed. They've clearly set it up to be good, Tim will be working with Jay which is what a lot of us have wanted for such a long time, and there's just like no way the entry could be so-called filler.

I can't believe I missed this response. That's what I get for going to a pony con all weekend...

Reading through this thread, I really do agree with most of what people have said thus far. I was really nervous watching it the first time, and was happily surprised by the calm of it. If we know anything solid about TTA at all, it's that nothing s/he does is by coincidence. Ergo, we can say with reasonable confidence that TTA is either really calm and nostalgic right now, or trying to ambiance his way through what's going to happen (personally, I'm hoping for the second, but that's just me). The last few entries have been relatively tense (I would have liked more, but I'm not complaining), which makes this trance-like episode seem very suspicious. In my extremely unprofessional opinion, I'd guess the next entry will be fairly similar to this; tense, teasing at fear, but will actually end with some substantial event, rather than a frame of WHATTHEHELL at the end.
It's reasonable to say that TTA is an anti-Operator force (of many, or of one). It can't really be said for sure, because TTA knows more about the Operator than anyone else, and gets pretty decent footage of him. No matter the side TTA is on, though, s/he is surely getting close to the Ark. The urgent messages at first; the brutal action of harming a former friend; now, the video of anticipation and some amount of worry. Things are coming down. Fast. We are close to answers and action.

I want to reiterate:

"For someone who fights The Operator, Hoody sure goes out of his way to imply that he's working with The Operator."

I guess you could interpret it that way, but I think you sure have to go out of your way. Wink

I think the easier interpretation is Hoody indicating that even though he apparently knows much more about what's going on, he's ultimately in the same boat as Jay and/or Tim - a victim of the Operator.

Now, I think there might be a better case for a TTA/TO alliance in this video if the Operator images weren't edited into the video from other footage. TTA had to have edited them in himself; it's not like he was actually standing there with the Operator for a company photo.

I don't think that Jay's biggest source of information and misguided moral support is working with the main antagonist of the series.

That was Jessica's hotel room. Remember, Jessica screamed and Jay ran to her room.

Let's look at all the times Jay is in the same area as the Operator, to see if this theory fits.

- 17: Tim and Alex were there.
- Return: Someone was filming (totheark or Masky are the most likely candidates.)
- 23: Masky was there.
- 40: Hoody was there.
- 52: Jessica was there.
- 60: Someone was above ground.

Hmm. I guess it's plausible that the Operator isn't actively following Jay. Not sure I totally buy it though. I mean why would the fact that someone was above Jay in Entry 60 cause the Operator to appear underground? I think whoever was up there probably led the Operator there (Whether on purpose or not is another question) but I think after the Operator realized Jay was there, he was going after Jay. I just think we don't see Jay with the Operator as much because of the format of the entries; Jay's not the main character in most of them. Whenever he is mind you, the Operator usually appears.

Nope, that was definitely Jay's hotel room. Also, Return.

Just throwing my 2 cents. . I agree that hoody seems to be targeted by TO, and that he may be reaching out to Jay and Tim for help to stop him. . At the same time, how can they trust someone that is breaking into Tim's house and stealing Med's to induce an episode?

If the theory that Masky & Hoody are working together, does ent# 61 make sense?

Not going to lie, Not sure how I feel about TO being LED anywhere!! I mean, it seems more sinister that alex is being used by TO and is being led by him rather then the other way around.. To me at least, the thought that TO would need to find Alex, then be led to some place make's TO seem weak, IMHO. . I feel like TO is really doing his own thing and Alex follows him like Renfield is to Dracula.. Just a puppet. .

I'm sure I'm way off and not trying to stir the pot, Just throwing my opinion out there.. . . .

Also, THE EYE!!! lol Shocked Silly

Agreed. If anything, the Operator might need a "stalk-ee" to manifest himself in our world, and would then be forcing the footstep-maker to go to the Hospital so that TO could chase Jay. But I have to believe that the Operator is powerful enough to move around without needing an anchor, and without being led anywhere.

Regarding the Jessica's room controversy, the rooms were adjoining, so I'm not sure it matters to the overall debate. I still don't buy the "Jay's not really stalked" theory, but Jessica was in closer proximity to Jay in that entry than some of the other characters were in the instances listed above by DHawk314.

OOG:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I really doubt that the eye is Jay's. It's definitely Troy's though.

To be honest, i didn't really like this ToTheArk as much as the other TTAs. I guess it's nice to know that things are still going on. But i'd much rather have the crew be working on an Entry instead of Troy editing a TTA. I don't think we need a ToTheArk every video in between every entry. Tim and Jay have been working together for nearly a month now... Eh, I'll end this post now before I start to ramble.

it makes sense because he blames Jay for it in the video saying "You caused this" "Look what you've done" So it was kind of a last resort on hoody's part to fulfill whatever plan he has

First, there's this video, which had The Operator edited in to be behind, & then beside, Totheark as if to say "I have this behind/beside me."

But the implications go back waaay earlier than this:

Over all, Totheark frequently has been accompanied by distortion & teleportation, which are typically associated with The Operator. Alex, who is believed by many to be the one working with The Operator, has never had this.

In an early Totheark video, Jay was shown in a trance while The Operator marched towards the camera. It seems odd that Totheark would not get out of the way, if he was filming this, & The Operator was after him. Also, this does not come from any known entry.

In another early video, this time one of the entries, Masky (who works for Totheark or some such business) was seen teleported into Jay's room. I believe this was also around the same time that Jay discovered he occasionally trances & leaves his room for parts unknown.

The burning of Jay's house, presumably by The Operator, which occurred after a very annoyed Totheark message.

Totheark also never mentions that he's against The Operator, or warns Jay about it before sending him somewhere where it might show up, at least not in any meaningful way.

Alex teleported out of his room in entry 44

Also he has had audio distortion in his voice sometimes, usually when he's angry

I halfway feel the same about Slender, although it's great to see the video view count rising for Marble Hornet's channel over the past few months, even if it's just for the first few videos mainly. When those who pass the temperament stay, it will have been worth it; all people have to start somewhere.
