Yeah, if you want to see a rather disturbing pic of Kali go look in the medical thread. Right there in the middle... It's kinda small, but with some imagination you can definitely see why the Goddesses should be treated kindly...

As for Phaedra I have no idea where her pic is...

Melissa kindly posted a pic in which I am indistinguishable, allowing me to maintain an air of mystery.

I haven't been watching the individual city threads - but have you considered a pre-or-post-training get-together in Chicago? Food, chat, a little drinking for those over 21. Might be fun, esp. for the visitors to town. Maybe some locals could brainstorm a place near the event that could accommodate a big group.

Four ARG-Fest-o-Cons in one day (and almost simultaneously)!

/me slides back to let Chicago organize themselves.

edited to reflect reality check about the time of day...AD

Just remember that 9 PM PDT in Chicago is 11PM, which changes things a little.

training end

well, technically... its going to begin at 8pm Chicago time... and its 3 hours long, so it wont end until 11pm right? so we'd be talking about going somewhere at 11pm on a thursday night, right? just tossing that out there....
Edit: tossing it out there along with fugativesoldier

i know some kickin' places downtown but right in the shaumberg area i only know of an IKEA Smile ... which, by the way, has a food court.... none of the beverages we are talking about are served there however.

Okey dokey, I know there is a group of people planning on hanging out prior to the event, but since I can't be there for that I want to plan for the after event party...

Anyone interested? I'm going to keep a running tab of people interested in attending, (we'll probably go to that gameworks place that's been mentioned, unless of course there are better suggestions.).

Attendees:

This coming weekend I am doing my show, and then I have to use free nights to do all the laundry I've been putting off, because of the show and because of this game. Smile

Again, if y'all wanna come see my show, that'd be totally awesome, and you'll get to hear the uh, extended remix (live) minty-fresh version of the song I sang to Melissa.

I mean, um, that's not the only selling point to the show, of course. I just didn't want to be all stumping for the show again needlessly, but I won't be free Weds. night beforehand, is all I'm sayin'.

After the event on Thursday, I will stay out as late as I can!
