This iPad Quick-Tip can help with viewing the source code. I've used it for a couple of years now. Just follow the instructions.

I can't view the source anyway, because the password pop-up won't allow me to right click.

This worked for me:

Right click link and Save target as...

Open saved page using Notepad

Not sure how obvious it is, but I noticed that in the We Are Earthborne video, the second image we see features a Horizon industries badge with the name "Allison Archer." There is also a user on their forum named "allison_archer" listed under 'The Team.'

I guess we have a spy on the inside, or possibly the person picked for Atlas?

Pretty much have everything we need now...
Next question is a bit of a chicken or the egg problem - how would we have gotten to the audio file if we hadn't found a way to access the site by sidestepping the password? Thinking we should know tomorrow.

The audio file was on the Earthborne site, which wasn't password protected. The name "Earthborne United" was in the guide, which many people got today, so they didn't need to bypass anything to get to their site.

Also, I gotta hand it to whomever is organizing this - the production quality is blowing my mind right now. I'm not sure if people are just missing the quality of this, or if they're too wrapped up in it, but wowee kablowey.

That fills out the crumb trail to me then.

Given the note on the bulletin board mentioning ARCHER, materials and retrieval, I would guess she could likely be the contact at NYCC in October.

The production IS really great... but none of the puzzles have been the slightest bit difficult thus far.

In my mind, overly complex puzzles just means a lot of busy work and less substance. But that's just me.

Coffee While I was sleeping....WOW! Agree depth of substance is paramount yet liked the PW puzzle b/c it was intrinsic. Posting to mega TY NekoHunter for the intriguing transcription (prev. page) & just to share the below:

Yep. I'm blown away by the quality and how much just happened. Ive had a busy day getting a couple $99 iPhone 4Ss set up and haven't even had time to absorb it all, the phones or the game.

From my fast skimming, the password to the site was found in the audio correct? And do we know what Adam means by the whole "tell him what to do with the audio" bit?

Re: password

A still-sleepy nod, Yes, the PW (which has now been removed from the website) was found both in the audio file & in the source code. Adam Everest's latest IG forum post explains why it was necessary for him to receive this info. HTH. And fwiw: had we used the correct PW we would have seen 'Welcome, Ambassador Jones.'

While I dont feel every puzzle needs to be difficult, it is good to have some tough ones or ones that require community effort. it is a bit disheartening to know when my packet arrives it's already outdated.

That said, this is an awesome game so far. =)

Maybe it will be outdated...Maybe it will contain the start of another puzzle...
But I'm ever the optimist..

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
and yes, this game rocks. I will definitely be playing anything Immersive Fiction puts out. Last time I had this much fun, I was playing Flynn Lives

On a different side note: I feel as if this game is certainly no longer about Yimmu Logistics. I'm going to change the name of the topic, and leave mention that it was formerly Yimmu Logistics, but as far as what we change the name to, I was thinking "We Are Earthborne". May as well respect the creators' wishes Wink
