Twitter account doesn't matter, canon or not, because it doesn't affect the story one bit. You say it's canon just because it's done officially. Fine. It still doesn't matter. It doesn't affect the story. Never has, never will.

 		I don't think anyone has argued that the twitter has been/is integral to the story, but I don't think there is any denying that it improves the narrative adding context, depth, all that jazz.

It's like, in Indiana Jones movies there's that cool map of the red-line from place to place as a way of showing how Indy gets to his next destination. Before that scene, Indy might say "I'm going to Peru." so we don't really NEED the map, and if the next scene was just of him getting off a plane in Peru it would make sense, but that doesn't change the fact that it's boss as fuck and makes the movie way better.

What do long gaps with no updates have to do with Doctor Who? Are you referring to the fact that they're doing a split season this time around?

 		wow wtf i had no idea doctor who was gonna be split. i can't complain since every episode is full of quality and it must take a boatload of effort and resources to make each episode

but yeah, can we stop arguing about the tweets? we get it, there's two sides and you're either on one or the other. continuing to rehash your opinion on it doesn't change the other person's and it's getting redundant. i feel bad for even starting this whole mess

 		I don't watch Doctor Who, but I highly doubt there are gaps in the season where you aren't notified when the next episode will be. Even with shows that have split seasons you even get a "Next time, when [whatever] returns in June..] promo.

I'm disappointed in you kids. My humor is a bit classier than that. Fuckin' puns, man.

No, my point was that information about when the new seasons of Doctor Who are going to air is so scarce that it's almost laughable. We didn't know for sure that Asylum of the Daleks was going to air when it did until very soon before it happened. And they were teasing it all summer. In addition, we found out almost immediately that there are going to be two months without Doctor Who again before the Christmas special, and then who knows how long until the second half of the season kicks off.

By comparison, a three-week wait for a 5-15 minute video is small potatoes.

Heh, that was annoying, particular all those contradictory reports from the BBC when it was going to air and the number of episodes. But still, it was worth the wait (and the Big Finish audio plays more then helped tie me over -I can't believe they got Tom Baker and Louise Jameson back for a series of plays)

However, Pravado, you did cross the line with your earlier comment. Being impatient is one thing, but attacking the creators is quite another. As I said before, we're not paying the guys anything (bar the DVDs and I can't imagine the guys are exactly wading in money from sales) and aren't really entitled to anything. The guys obviously do care (and do try to make fortnightly updates), but they have school, work, friends and family...and that must take pirority. Troy is now working in a proffessional job and that makes it even harder for the guys to get together. In the end, Marble Hornets is a hobby for the guys, nothing more, nothing less. If we have to go a month without an entry, so be it. They have so mich more important things to do then Marble Hornets.

As for the tweets, as I said before, there's only so much tease that you can do. As entry #62...well, I went away from entry wondering who had uploaded ity? The possibility that Hoody had detained the guys or even killed them was enough of an explanation for me. We know it's Jay, but why didn't he upload an entry telling us he was okay? I'm sure we'll get a satisfying answer in the next entry (something went down in the woods off camera (TTA future fodder or a hacked Marble Hornets account entry later?) and Jay's still struggling to deal with it and doesn't want to share it with us just yet?)

As for what Jay does inbetween entries...well....unless it serves the plot, it's not really necccessary. A tweet or two about the crappy jobs Jay has to do to support himself (or what he does in his spare time) would be affecting, but if it became a regular thing and didn't have any relevance to the plot, it'd just be unsastifying to the audience. We don't come to see what Jay at his crappy jobs he has to work at to support himself or what he's watching on TV, we come to the series to watch Jay try to uncover the mystery of what happened during the filming of Marble Hornets and what is happening to him and get kicked in the balls for trying.

 		I can't believe that no one noticed I actually deleted the words "for the silence" from the quote in my post. And when people quoted me, it looks like they reinserted the words.

@pravado:
Last I heard, they were doing six episodes in the fall (we're already three deep), then the Christmas Special, then resuming in the Spring. I might be wrong, though.
