[META] SWAG LOTTERY!

If you wanted a DVD, please don't despair. I really doubt the PMs would promise DVDs-by-mail and then not deliver, so you can get one that way (directly from the PMs! Way cooler than from me!). Also, there's a thread somewhere around here (I'll dig it up) in which people are making arrangements with individuals who have DVD-copying ability to receive a copy of the DVD. (Like this.)

sounds awesome to me... now i don't have to beg anyone to send me stuff (i always feel bad about that)...

beekeepers rock!

to save some from Phaedra's lecture, i'm willing to pay for postage if that's going to be an issue for some people... (:
(for myself... i'd offer up more, but i just recently ran into a HUGE financial obligation so that's where my fun-time money's going)

In Urban Hunt the PMs provided a book called Dead Poems that players were able to purchase sort of like a souvenier (from what I gather), it would be neat to see somehting similar to that, worked into our game. I would love to have a small token to remember this experience, and I wouldn't mind paying a little for it.

Come to think of it, I seem to remember a few CafePress items...hmmm...

I'd gladly donate the use of my Apocalypso Crew license plate Razz (too bad I can't actually afford to buy it)

Well, if you're going to one of the events you can help by volunteering to bring back extra stuff.

What a very noble act Phaedra....I will gladly sign up for the lottery to be a donor. I feel for those who won't be able to make it, so I'll do my part in picking up some extra swag.

Awesome. You may consider yourself spared from the coming Charity Sermon.

There's still time to avert it, people! Sign up to give!

Should you take up a collection for the SWAG gatherers to use?

Maybe VPISteve or another site admin could set something up.

geez people, you actually made me have to fight back a tear! honestly, I got a lump in my throat... thanks a lot. it's one of those things, you know, you just do something you think will be fun, not knowing what kind of impact it'll have on a community... I have to second whoever said it (in another thread even?) this is definitely the best community I've been apart of, in general respect for each other, friendship, etiquette, intelligence (*cough*phaedra*cough*), entertainment (Dorkmaster, gotta get him in there somewhere, as he's quite absent recently)... honestly, I guess I'm among those people who don't feel we deserve anything more than anyone else... we're all part of the game and we all had a role in it, just in different areas...

ok I'm done Smile had to catch myself there, or I'll start another 'thank you to...' trend. how many of those threads have we had now? Razz

woohoo! someone's seconding me! (i've said that numerous times, but there have been a bunch of others who have echoed what i've said) ... but yeah, we've all had different roles, but there have been some (yourself among them) who have been on the front line (plus us kids who have been in the background) ... (:
