I honestly think they should remove it. Honestly, how many people are going to see that link on his YouTube page? Most people would just subscribe to Marble Hornets, and then wait for new videos to show up in their feed.

The link is small and out of the way. It's just kind of weird that it's there...in-game. The link takes you to a site that says "Marble Hornets: Season 2" very large at the top with a quote at the bottom praising the series. It doesn't kill the immersion, but it's just out of place and doesn't make sense. And I know a lot of things in this series don't make sense, but this is one that can be easily fixed.

I really don't think sales would be affected that much by removing it.

My biggest complaint with the DVD link being on the YouTube page is that ever since the twitter link was removed in favor of it, newcomers to the series basically have no way of knowing the twitter exists.

And contrary to popular belief, I think reading the twitter and viewing the TTA responses are necessary for the full MH experience.

I miss when MH was more personal and interactive, but it was inevitable that it would become more like a TV series as it became more popular.

I also forgot that the DVD link is on his Twitter as well. Damn. I mean, I know he's trying to get sales, and that's fine, but it's just weird that it's there.

I really don't see Jay making DVD's of this to sell. To each his own, but I think the DVD links are just some 4th wall breakages that don't exist in-game.
