We should definitely meetup. How early should we get there? Parking??? Ive never been there. Also, im looking to enhance my non-costume tron getup. With some light up shoes. The tron 30th page on FB had an image of some with 50% off listed but they didnt respond to it yet. Anybody know what im talking about. Im also debating on some uv reactive shades. Finally ill be bringing my uv led light to find any FL treats to get the game going again. I soooo want there to be some epic clues to get the ball rolling for
I would really love some EL shoes like the adidas ones but im not even sure if they ever went on sale.

I'm sure most of you know I love Tron and always try and enhance the experience of my fellow Tron fans. So i'm working with the Chinese Theater to bring a little bit of fan art to the scene... permitting accepted, I hope you all enjoy. That being said, I now have no idea what my pre-event availability will be. I was planning on getting there around lunch time either way (unless I'm required to be earlier).
There's a Disney Soda Fountain across the street if nothing else. its a good place out of the sun and its easy to loiter as they have a gift shop.
I did see the 50% off shoes thing. I didnt check it out though... As for the Adidas, they couldnt get the electronics to be reliable, so they never launched. However I know some guys that make the Nike Air shoes from Back to the Future... very similar concept
As for any sort of Flynn Lives continuation, I dont presume to know more than anyone else, but i very, very seriously doubt that you'll see any of that at this venue.
If I cant meet up before the show starts, i'll post a picture of my costume and hopefully you guys will come find me.

I know how you feel!, East coast sucks!
If anybody can get a little video of how things unfold, that would be awesome.

Planes... you both should really got on one and come out.
Fly in, go to the event, then the "after party" which lasts until 2am, and then a few of us are getting together for an after party, by the time we get done it'll be time to hit your return flight!

That is exactly what I will do if I can somehow get a flight out in the next month. Isn't looking likely right now tho. Kinda tight on cash till I find new work.

I heard that too. I'm not going, but I have a good friend that is going this afternoon. I asked him to let me know if he sees any good stuff and to grab me one if so...
I'll let all y'all know if there's anything beyond the Uprising preview...

For those of you who are on a tight budget, you can save 50% on the TRON 30th ticket price now. When you check out at movietickets.com, choose to enter a promo code and type in "TRON30" during checkout.

It translates to:
The third message I believe is supposed to be: 011111001 01100101 01110011, but that translates to "|²¹". I'm not sure what that last one is supposed to mean.
Maybe it's the international symbol for 'I'm so damn jealous of all of you people that can go to this thing'.
Or then again, maybe not...

False Advertising Ok... Bad news folks. I've heard from a friend that she talked with Bruce and Cindy over twitter and they are NOT going to be there this weekend, nor were they ever contracted to do so. Which also leads me to wonder if anything with this event is legit. You can still get refunds from the theatre but only in person. Tix are also apparently only $15 now. I'm likely to bite the bullet and still go anyway because I won't have any time to get to the theatre in LA before saturday to get an in person refund.
