But it was. When Seth falls he screams really loud, but it is accompanied by a lot of distortion so you may think it's just that.

We forget that we're dealing with a paranormal stuff series here, anything can happen so I wouldn't assume that Seth or Brian are "dead". I'm still curious about the eye, it seems to be Jay's as said before but I would like to see what actually happened when he was unconcious in hoody's hut.

I can't tell whose eye it is, but when I first saw it, I took it entirely symbolically. My initial impression is that it's nobody's eye in particular, maybe even that it's snippets of footage from random internet videos, spliced together into the composite shot. For the moment, I'm taking it as a freaky symbol for the feeling of being trapped and paranoid as the Operator "follows all." Whether it's important that the eye peaks through a knothole in the Hoody Hut is another good question.

Yeah. It's totally a callback to Entry ######.

If there is screaming I wonder if they added the distortion so people couldn't tell it was

That's what I'm thinking. I've always heard a scream in there, even when I watched it for the first time.

I have never heard a scream in there. Not a single time.

I just went back and listened to it a few times (you're discussing "Entry #22," beginning around 5:03, right?). I think I heard a scream - well, more like a yell and a grunt than a scream - under the distortion. It's faint enough, though, that I can't say it's definitive. It's certainly not "really loud." It really reminds me of those silly white noise recordings that "ghost hunters" are always throwing around. It could sound like anything.

In real life, one doesn't always need a dead body to convict someone of murder. In fiction, though, especially supernatural fiction, it's hard to say that a character is dead without one, scream or no scream. In the same entry, just seconds later, Alex says, "Seth is gone." He doesn't say, "Seth is dead." That's not definitive, either, but it's interesting that Alex chose to use the term that is open to interpretation.

I always thought that was a scream. Listening to it some more makes it sound like a rather long and probably really loud scream. Wandering around in the dark and suddenly stumbling upon something would be perfect for such a reaction, especially if whatever if was had been dragging him away or something. The only problem I have with that is Alex's rather simple reaction. Is it just Joseph's acting, or does it tie into how Alex was trying to get rid of the cast members?
