It makes me rage that were gonna have to wait another couple weeks for another entry.

If the next totheark response comes soon, I'm going to expect the obligatory "always watching" "i was there" "did you see me?" "i saw you" phrases.

And then a 4 second clip of totheark watching Tim and Jay meetup.

This isn't related to Marble Hornets, but it's something that I've been feeling peeved about ever since I started lurking back in early 2011.

Every single time I go on the Marble Hornets subforum, I always see someone hating on another one of the big vlogs. This doesn't make me feel any resentment towards anyone, as I've been lurking since 2011 and I can see that you're a cool bunch of people, but it still saddens me to see other works of art being hated on by people who likely haven't even watched them.

Let's start with EverymanHYBRID, as I see more people hating on this than the others. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, who explains why they don't like this series always wind up saying something along the lines of, "The story is too convoluted and I don't want to spend 10 hours on the wiki trying to figure everything out", and that's it. They have nothing else to say about it. I don't know whether it's blind hate that people use to convince themselves that Marble Hornets is the best vlog out there, or just obliviousness, but all of these people conveniently forget that this timeline was made to help newcomers understand what's going on. It's the timeline that I used when I got into the series about a year ago, and it works like a charm.

You guys that are preparing to hate some more on EMH's story for needing a timeline to understand: PLEASE! There's a number of timelines for Marble Hornets that people use to watch the Entries in order with the TTA responses. Yes, you can just understand MH's story by watching the Entries, but the TTA responses are required to get the full experience. A timeline does NOT immediately mean that a series is bad; it merely means that the story is creative. Those same bunch of people, after seeing this timeline, would probably go, "But you have to REEEEAAAAADDDDD the Corenthal documents and the twitter posts!!! I just like to watch!" Each Corenthal document (probably the biggest, most important read-y material in the series) takes maybe on average two to five minutes (and easily less) to read through, which is even shorter than the average length of EMH's videos. And they're pretty epic reads (everything is; not just the Corenthal documents), so it doesn't matter whether or not you hate reading. SHUT UP AND READ IT!

Now for Tribe Twelve. What does everyone use to shove this series out of the way? The acting quality. I will agree that some of the early acting isn't all that good. The first few episodes of TT are heavily focused on a character named Milo Asher whose actor really isn't the best. People get turned off from the series immediately because of this, despite the fact that this guy isn't in the series for very long at all. The only other occasion I can think of where the acting quality feels low is the episode where Noah speaks to his parents. Those are three minor characters. Noah/Adam himself is a fine actor and is really the only constant character in this series. TT's bad acting is mostly due to its minor characters that are only there for 1-5 episodes, so it's REALLY not that big of a deal.

So yeah, the people who hate on these series are likely just trying to convince themselves that Marble Hornets is the best Slender vlog, period. Please, everyone. We don't have to hate on the other series. All three have their own pros and cons. All three are excellent. Why can't we just love them all? This is almost as bad as a couple of Blizzard fanboys that I saw in my final weeks of WoW, who were saying that Guild Wars 2 was going to fail because it was Steampunk. Like...Seriously? That being a stupid reason aside, GUILD WARS 2 ISN'T EVEN STEAMPUNK! It's the same concept here; people take the vlogs' one or two "flaws" and exploit them and tear them apart.

This probably isn't going to reduce the blind hate, or change anything for people who stand by these silly opinions, but please. Please. Please. For those of you on this forum that have only watched Marble Hornets so far, those silent few who lurk, and for those of you who aren't arrogant, expand your horizons! Each of the Big Three have their pros and cons; EMH has the best characters, the best acting, and IMO, the best backstory. The only drawback is that Slendy himself isn't as scary in comparison to other series, but EMH's other antagonists make up for this. Tribe Twelve is definitely the scariest of the three and has the best special effects, and it also has one of the scariest proxy character of any vlog that I have watched so far.

So please, don't join the horde in blindly smiting this series with your false judgement. Just give 'em a watch. You won't regret it.

Last entry was good, but in the context of a 3 week wait and a 6-8 week buildup since this story arc began (#61), I feel cheated. In that regard it sucked immensely.

So 25 days make 5 minute video with no special effects to edit. They went from 16 days to 19 days for video there.
