If anyone is willing to mail stuff halfway around the planet (new zealand) I'll certainly cover the postage on it. I don't expect anything, really; however, what I would certainly like is to see some photos of the goings on posted here on the 5th.

Lt. Col JR reporting. I was responsible for one spiked axon and the Pink Floyd you heard on, I believe, the 10/12 crew .wav file. I live about four hours from Austin, am sixteen, and can't go that far on a school night, so I won't be able to make it to the training session. I would adore any souvenirs fellow crew members would be so kind as to send, and will gladly pay postage. Thanks very much!

For the record, I think what Phaedra is trying to organise here is very cool, and I don't think anyone should be giving her a hard time about it.
It's sad that what started as a fine expression of the outstanding community spirit that has built up in these forums over the past few weeks has degenerated into an (albeit mild) argument. Now that Phaedra has made absolutely clear the implied fact that participation in this is entirely voluntary, I hope we can let this thread get back on its course and hopefully, at the end of it all, people who would have otherwise missed out on some cool swag (assuming there is any to be had!) will get some.

If I may add to what I said earlier. If someone wins the lottery, but can't pay shipping, I'd be glad to help/pay with/for their shipping. I'm willing to pay for my own, but if there's not enough swag to go around, I'll be glad to bee sure someone else gets theirs.

Coolness. Looks like most people wanting swag are at least willing to pay postage. I think everyone can benefit, if we just continue taking stock of the situation and the lovely Phaedra keeps this post updated (though it's not her responsibility, she's doing it out of the kindness of her heart, for which I thank her)

Oh god no!!!! I did not mean to disparage her efforts in any way whatsoever! It was simply meant as a little gentle ribbing... I'm sorry it was taken the wrong way. As I noted in a previous post - I am in a rather weird, odd, silly mood today. And, I concur, KUDOS to Phaedra!
Now I see the problem - I did not learn my lesson from the earlier misunderstanding in here - I forgot the smiley faces...... there - fixed
Hey at least I didn't write it in red right? Is it a full moon? Ok everyone with me on ethis.... deep breath....... and reeeelllleeeaaasseee.... In with the good... out with the bad....

So, when all is said and done, what should we do? Pool together a list of swag items that are ready, and randomize them out into the list of recipients, then notify the donors what they are sending to who?
I would guess Phaedra has a plan, just wondering tho.
