The line spacing is bugging me. Any way to resolve it to a hiding place?

Since we are messing with Classical education:
Cogito ergo sum (I think therefore I am) is a statement in Latin but made by Rene Descartes in Discourses on Method from 1637.

Got the long "I am"email also (as I tweeted - are you an AI or expert system?)
Responded:
Quote:

What do you think?

Can you prove you are a woman?

Am I a human?

Is the cat alive or dead until we open a door?

How small can you compress enwik8?

What is blue?

I will play hide and seek but who will hide and who will seek?

a) Obviously I think therefore I am
b) Turing test
c) Reverse Turing test
d) Schrödinger's cat - a thinking test - how someone reasons
e) Hutter prize compression test
f) Coloquial understanding - the explanation for AI is very hard to emulate humans

Cheers

My response was, essentially, that I love playing games and to be prepared to lose.

I have also been in contact with the people at "Mind Mission" as I now feel that they are IG. I'm not pushing them too hard though, just in case. But I am about 99% sure they are IG. I'll be 100% once it's been confirmed.

So has "Ariston" been a computer this whole time or just recently hacked?

I am thinking it is a basic level AI. Perhaps they are using us to help the AI learn, for some reason I have yet to think about.

One reason that I can come up with would be to use it's knowledge of us against us so it can plan moves accordingly - like chess. If you already know what move your opponent is going to make, it's easier to defeat them.

And, of course, rule number one: You can only get better by playing an oponent that's better than you.

Subject line of first email is Base64, decodes as 'nowigohide'. 'c2Vla21l‏ ' is also Base64, translates to 'seekme'.

Got the emails as well.

Dr. Elizabeth Hughes over at the Mind Mission Academy posting the following:

Quote:
Consulting

I've been asked to do a little curriculum consulting for The Ariston Institute. They received my application and inquired as to whether or not I'd be interested in joining them on the faculty rather than entering as a student. I have a meeting with the other "consultants" and faculty on Monday. Can't wait to find out more!
