And Jerry is back..

Code:

Dear Mr. Willingham,

Your e-mail to Mr. Sprague has been received and he has been notified of its content. Unfortunately, Mr. Sprague will not be attending the town meeting, by-laws or not, seeing as he is currently assisting in a Federal investigation.

I am not at liberty to discuss said investigation with you, but I am authorized to inform you that the Marzano Family and its activities is part of its scope. The sightings you've had of Mr. Sprague coincide with him picking up what remains of his personal affairs, after the arson attack upon his home, in addition to making some final mental and physical snapshots of a town, which he once proudly called home.

Mr. Sprague will be moved to a secure location elsewhere in the country and from there enter the WPP, this in light of threats against his life, in addition to reasons pertaining to the investigation.

I trust that as an officer of the court, I need not remind you that uttering the suggestion found in your last communication publically, would be most unfortunate. Especially in light of the fact that Mr. Sprague is under 24/7 surveilance/guard. He had no involvement with the 2C:18-3, 2C:18-2 and 2C:20-3 at your home.

You might wonder, why Mr. Sprague does not simply attend the meeting under guard?? This due to the observed interaction between members of the town council, yourself included and members of the Marzano Family. Two of which, AT LEAST are suspected in 2 counts of 2C:11-2, several counts of 2C:39-4 (one such an occurence we've even got on tape from surveilance camera's, which had been installed in the Sprague household.), and this does not even address the numerous violations of various chapters and sections of US Code: Title 18.

It's an most unfortunate grouping of circumstances, which forces Mr. Sprague to be of service to his country, during a time in which he should be grieving for the loss of his family. His adherence to the call of duty and his dedication in a matter concerning national security is not being overlooked, therefore any further attempts to contact Mr. Sprague or to find out his whereabouts will be viewed as interference with an ongoing criminal investigation and an attempt to pervert the course of Justice.
Criminal Proceedings will be initialized upon such a course of action by yourself or by Mayor Dobbs.

Hope you have a most productive meeting, despite the abscence of Mr. Sprague.

Signed,

Jeremy Denauer
JAD and Associates

A nearly identical version has been sent to the Mayor. Just removed the comments regarding officer of the court, and the opening is slightly different. Real substance of the mail is still the same though

Responses will be posted here.
