I actually like Everyman Hybrid more than Marble Hornets.

I don't know how Serum wasn't aware of this.

First off: Is it really? That'd be a shame, I never really felt like much was resolved in that series. I'm guessing if it is over it's by a "cancellation" of sorts rather than an official ending?

But more importantly, I'd encourage Serum (if he's even interested in getting into more series) to do some exploring beyond these few vlogs. They are by far the most well-known, and for good reason, but with the sheer amount of content in the mythos they're not the only good ones. A lot of it has to do with personal taste, anyway.

Myself, there are a lot of vlogs I've heard about or seen but never really taken the time for, which I kind of want to rectify.

Same; EMH is my favorite Slendy vlog so far. A lot of people are afraid to watch it all the way through, though, because of its "convoluted story."

It makes me sad. They're missing out.

 		i mean the problem with emh is that they do stuff outside of the videos that directly ties in with the story and then don't address them in videos

i've seen every video they've put out and i have a loose idea of what's going on, but some people know it so much more in depth

same thing with tribetwelve although he addresses things a lot more, but people know who deadhead and all these people are when i only know their sillhouettes

 		Yes, that really doesn't make sense. I appreciate that there's so much backstory that it's difficult to cover in the videos, but there's absolutely no reason why they haven't given a general rundown on HABIT considering he's kind of the apparent main antagonist.

The problem is, I think, not that people don't know what an ARG is, but EMH doesn't apply it consistently. For the most part, it's a VLog.

Most Slender things aren't ARG's.

It's more the "don't address it in the videos" bit rather than the external sources of info.

 		ARG or not, it's really, really stupid not to include recaps of EVERYTHING that's going on in the main videos.

Marble Hornets doesn't reference the twitter or the totheark channel anymore (something that has always bothered me), but you can get a good 80% of the story just by watching the main videos, because they sum up what's been going on at the beginning of each video.

i know it's an arg. i'm saying even other arg's make recap videos, or at least mention what happened outside of vlogs in the vlogs themselves. emh has non-vlog stuff that some people (like myself) don't even know where or when these non-vlog related things are going to take place. they do livestreams and don't record them (for the most part), their twitter doesn't help much with the story... there's too much not documented in an organized fashion outside of the wiki

and fuck if i'm going to read a wiki to understand what is going on in that story. it's not the same as experiencing it first hand

1. They're called "rape whistles", not fuckwhistles.
2. Pravado clearly is not a rape whistle due to his obvious sentience.

As for the slender shows, what I can say about Everymanhybrid is that it's better at being an ARG than Marble Hornets ever was. That said, I see Marble Hornets as a good show in general in terms of acting, story, character developement, etc, reglardless of how closely it adheres to ARG criteria, and by extension, the more enjoyable story to follow. Tribetwelve for me has always been a time-killer between Marble Hornets entries. For whatever reason I could never really get into it.
